      "In need of attention"
Poor sleep because of heat and the fan doesn’t help and if you’re on road side opening the window makes it so noisy and not much cooler, don’t understand why the corridors were so much cooler than the room.Water pressure is poor on second floor and staff know it but it hasn’t been fixed and no solution offered. Corridors, hand rails and windows all need a proper clean. The car parking charges are silly for residents and it’s just a way to make more money as there are loads of spaces. Unusually you have to order your hot food but I guess that reduces waste. It’s a convenient location for the city centre.
"Not what we expect for premier inn."
Stayed here for my daughter's dance comp. Premier inn are our go to hotel brand for dance comps but this one just didn't fit the price tag. £142 for a night. Long wait at reception to leave our bags...then a long wait for a drink at the bar because the reception staff are also expected to be bar staff and to be in two service areas at the same time. Rooms were ok. Carpet didn't fit in room 1. Tired furniture too. I think if I'd payed £79 to £99 I'd be ok. But almost £150....I feel ripped off and will now look at other hotel brands for our dance comps.
      "Pizza and Beer"
Myself and my engineering team stay here regularly for work over the last year, and can honestly say the whole Premier Inn team are one of the best in our experience. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and we get friendly, warm, first name treatment from start to finish.
      "Last minute decision"
Last minute requirement of a room for the night. Have stayed a few times previously. Never once have I been disappointed. Place is warm & clean, plenty of onsite extras if needed. Staff are a great asset for this location, nothing is ever too much trouble. Please be patient with them. They are a small team & have a large number of people to help.
"clean and comfy but lacking wifi"
nice and clean with comfy bed so thats the main bit. breakfast was great but very slow due to staffing issues. Wifi was a non starter. pretty shocking in 2025, could barely load a page on a browser parking was ok but was £9 a night and the area was v quiet so seemed pricey
