"Pros and Cons"
The staff were lovely and the hotel was good value for money. The breakfast was excellent and it was nice to have the freshly cooked version rather than the buffet style version. Also it was nice to have an on-site car park with plenty of available spaces when we were there. However there was no air conditioning in the rooms and in the room we were in we were disturbed by an extremely loud chiming clock somewhere nearby which chimed the hour all through the night. With the window open it was really loud. The water pressure in the bathroom was abysmal.

"Lovely warm welcome at this Premier Inn"
Lovely Premier Inn one of the best I’ve stayed in due to the fairly quiet location and lovely warm and helpful staff. We had a room on the ground floor facing away from the road and car park which was very quiet considering the hotel was full. Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was standard Premier Inn fair so nothing special but hot and fresh. The location is slightly out of town, you can walk in but we used Ubers to get around and they are pretty affordable. One thing to note it does not have air con so if you are someone who needs this probably not for you but the windows on the ground floor do open which I much prefer. We were staying in the middle of the heatwave but it’s Newcastle, so it never got as hot as the south of the UK.

"Excellent hotel"
We arrived at the hotel after a long hard day walking the Hadrian's Wall Walk. The staff who greeted us at check-in were very helpful and welcoming, our room was very comfortable, clean and tidy. We had our evening meal at the hotel, there was lots of choice and the food was freshly cooked. Breakfast next morning was the same. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and made sure that our needs were fully met. Highly recommended.
