Newcastle Airport hotel

Room not cleaned properly, smelt damp. breakfast was lukewarm, the hotel needs to be refurbished. No air conditioning, room was extremely hit. Fan not working.

The hotel is in an excellent location to access Newcastle Airport, and is a great to stay if you have an early flight the next day. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfy. This hotel has no air conditioning which is clearly stated at check out. They have a powerful fan in every room which did the job, however, air conditioning would have been better. The bathrooms have a bathtub, which is a personal favourite of mine as I like a nice long soak and a glass of wine on an evening, however, the bathrooms are dated and need a few lift. It reminded me of my old student accommodation. The restaurant was nice. Food was really good quality. The only let down was the price. For two main means and two soft drinks it was £40. I know we’re at the airport, but it did feel a bit steep. Overall, we paid £84 for the night we stayed, and it did exactly what we needed it to. A place to stay before our early morning flight to Rhodes. Only things to improve are air con, bathrooms and food price.

Lovely clean hotel, exactly what you get with premier inn. Highly recommend using this hotel at Newcastle airport. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

If you stay at this hotel hope that you do not get a room on the upper floors where the water pressure is shocking, woke up for an early flight to find there was barely enough pressure to get soap off. Reported to the front desk who told me I had to contact customer services who have refused to refund under the guarantee despite admitting the shower pressure is not up to standard, hotel needs to fix this issue asap and also honour the "good night guarantee" without trying to find reasons not too

I just wanted to take the time to write a review. We’re just about to check out and I have to say this is the best premier inn I’ve ever stayed at. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful, everyone was smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Especially these two members of staff; one that served us our evening meal (Friday 5th June- she had a long ponytail), and one who served us a breakfast (Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June, she had short dark hair). They made our experience so lovely and memorable. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed our breakfasts! The room was clean and tidy and had everything we need. All the customers seemed happy- it was a lovely friendly atmosphere. We slept like logs too. No noise complaints! Overall we were so happy and said what an amazing stay we had. Thank you so much!
