Newcastle Airport hotel

If you stay at this hotel hope that you do not get a room on the upper floors where the water pressure is shocking, woke up for an early flight to find there was barely enough pressure to get soap off. Reported to the front desk who told me I had to contact customer services who have refused to refund under the guarantee despite admitting the shower pressure is not up to standard, hotel needs to fix this issue asap and also honour the "good night guarantee" without trying to find reasons not too

I just wanted to take the time to write a review. We’re just about to check out and I have to say this is the best premier inn I’ve ever stayed at. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful, everyone was smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Especially these two members of staff; one that served us our evening meal (Friday 5th June- she had a long ponytail), and one who served us a breakfast (Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June, she had short dark hair). They made our experience so lovely and memorable. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed our breakfasts! The room was clean and tidy and had everything we need. All the customers seemed happy- it was a lovely friendly atmosphere. We slept like logs too. No noise complaints! Overall we were so happy and said what an amazing stay we had. Thank you so much!

I've stayed here numerous times and for ease to airport it is excellent BUT it is not suitable for anyone who has mobility problems. The bathroom is NOT accessible and I could not have a shower. A lower bath does not help when you can't climb safely into it. An accessible bathroom means a walk in shower. The bed is dreadful. It is low, smaller than your other beds and the quality of mattress does not fit the description in Premier Inn adverts. It is soft worn and uncomfortable . I've stayed several times in other Premier Inns and had a walk in shower and a "normal" Premier Inn bed with no issues. Newcastle airport is certainly not one of the better Premier Inns and requires more thought and care for it's less able customer.

Bedroom looked cosy, curtains are far to short, light shown in easily, very good fan if get to hot, lampshades were ripped, bed decent, TV on wrong part of the wall as when I was lying in bed I had to have my head at angle to watch the TV which was uncomfortable, cleaners are very noisy in the mornings, it's a mix bag really, I will stay again but there needs to be lots of improvements.

Emily and Owen really made our stay in the restaurant. Amy at reception greeted us and we had friendly service throughout. Dining was great, food was a good quality pub standard. The hotel itself was comfortable enough for a short term stay. No issues and a decent enough sleep. Of course you can hear aircraft which isn't surprising considering the location. Certainly some improvements could be made in the rooms but it's adequate for the price point.
