Newcastle Airport hotel

Very comfortable stay, staff here are lovely especially Emily on reception and Owen down at the bar. Food is just say average, bland and basic. Very rude guest speaking to the young lady on reception and from our view it was extremely well handled and we asked if she was ok. Bit pricey but expected for an airport hotel. Needs a refurbishment. Will stay again

Amazing stay again, thankyou to premier inn staff especially Emily on reception. She was somehow smiling from checking us in at 3:30pm until we went to bed at 10:30pm! Very great member of staff, very approachable and competent. The beds were super comfy, noise slightly during the night however when booking an airport hotel you should expect this. Food and rooms are slightly out dated but that didnt effect our stay. Thankyou again

I had a 1 night pre-flight stay here and was pleased with the overall experience. Within a 5 minute wall from the airport terminal building and Metro station. I received a warm welcome and was allocated an end of corridor room for a quiet night. I opted for the £19.99 meal deal - a 2 course dinner plus drink, but excluding breakfast. Perfect when you have an early morning flight before they've started serving breakfast. Just book a table when checking in to guarantee you can dine at your preferred time. The restaurant has lots of staff, so the service runs smoothly and meals arrive quickly from the kitchen. Previous reviews have mentioned dated decor - my bathroom needed some cracks patched and painted but nothing else concerned me. I'd be very happy to stay here again should the need arise.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Avoid! An absolutely unacceptable experience and certainly not the standard of accommodation or service you would expect from Premier Inn! The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with excessive noise from the corridors at all hours, making it almost impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. The bathroom had visible mould, and the shower rail fittings were poorly installed and not fit for purpose. To make matters worse, the staff were miserable, unapproachable and completely unhelpful. I raised a formal complaint and provided photographic evidence to support my concerns, yet rather than taking the issues seriously, I felt completely fobbed off and dismissed. Premier Inn promotes its Good Night Guarantee, yet when customers experience genuinely poor conditions and provide evidence, it seems the promise counts for very little. The cleanliness, maintenance, customer service and overall experience fell well below the standards advertised. It is incredibly disappointing that a company of this size appears unwilling to take responsibility when things go wrong. I certainly would not recommend staying here. Save your money and book elsewhere!
