    "Clean and friendly, but very basic"
    The rooms in the pub are very basic and seem tired. Bedding very clean, bed a bit hard. Receptionist was lovely. This is not to the same standard as the Premier Inn closer to the airport. Wouldn’t willingly stay here again.
    "A good well placed hotel."
    The hotel is well situated for the airport, only a short drive away. Parking is good and well lit. The adjacent restaurant is adequate after a long drive. The queue to order is very long and the food was okay,the vegetables were over done and had been under the lamps for too long,the meat however was lovely.
    "Honest review"
    You know what, the room and bed are comfy and clean...the welcome I received when I arrived by the lovely friendly lady on the reception was wonderful 😁☺️....x Yes it definitely needs a spruce up, 100%.... But, this is fine for a stop over before flying next day. Needs new carpets, bathrooms need updating and a paint job would be recommended, but apart from that it's great, honestly. The pub on site is basic but covers all needs and requirements.
    "Smelly and mouldy"
    Staff are nice but this is the worst premier inn I have stayed in old mouldy rooms with a musky damp smell needs a complete refurbishment. . Didn't feel like a priemeir inn as if it's like a fake priemeir inn feel. There was a hole in the skirting also a mice could get in. Toilet was ald citron style toilet pan very old dirty and tired .
    "Highly recommend"
    This is a small friendly hotel next to a pub where you can buy food including breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean with an actual bath and a shower over. Good quality toiletries provided. It was very quiet compared to the hotels nearer the airport which can be noisy

    Our Newcastle Airport South hotel is an ideal stopover if you're jetting in or out, visiting Newcastle or the local area. We're only 1.5 miles from the airport and 200 yards from Callerton Parkway Metro station leading to Newcastle City Centre. After time spent in the air or out and about exploring, retire to our spacious rooms and ultra comfy beds. Whether your stay is for business or leisure we have you covered and with free parking for hotel guests it doesn't get much more convenient than a flying visit to Premier Inn Newcastle Airport South.
