"Good location for airports"

We only stayed for one night to break up a long journey. Pros.. lovely staff, large room, very comfortable bed, free parking, good location for airport. Cons..very old hotel, no task light on the desk, no usb charging points, no sockets near the bed so take an extension lead if you need medical equipment overnight. The TV is possibly the smallest I've seen in a hotel and is fixed into the desk so difficult to watch if in bed. We didn't have any meals at the pub nextdoor so can't comment on that. The most off putting thing was the smell in the corridor and inside the room. There was an underlying smell of bad drains covered by lots of bleach, it smelt like a municipal baths. We opened the window and that made it a lot more bearable.We slept ok and didn't really notice much plane noise. It could be much better if it was refurbished.

Firstly the positives • Great location for Metro and Airport • free Parking • comfortable beds Then Oh my god this place need some money spent on it. • Dirty woodwork • stained toilet seat • old enamel bath that is grubby I’m assuming list top layer of enamel been removed • dirt around taps 🤢 • smallest tv in world • many small black curly hairs in bath and tiles 🤢 All this is a shame Premier you need to spend some money this place could be great Would I stay again not even for location

Not very nice. The room i was put in was above a pub bar which played music till past 10pm which is not good if you need to get some rest in before a long trip with job interview at the end.

There are two Premiere Inns near the airport. The other one is within walking distance of the airport. It’s a newer build. But it costs more. I like the Premiere Inn South. Yes, it’s a few more minutes drive away and a bit rough and ready around the edges but I think it has all that you need. Nice spacious rooms. A lovely warm shower (and bath). Free parking and very friendly staff.

We're only 1.5 miles from the airport and 200 yards from Callerton Parkway Metro station leading to Newcastle City Centre.
