Woking West (A324) hotel

I was very pleasantly surprised of how pretty the hotel was for it's busy location. One of the best Premier Inn's I've ever stayed in. It was very quaint, relaxing and lovely buildings and restaurant. It felt very peaceful and relaxing, didn't really realise the main road. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was lovely, love the decor, size and cleanliness. Food choice was good for both breakfast and dinner. I went with my elderly parents, and all the staff went out of their way to help them, with their conditions, and were very patient with us. Everyone was helpful and friendly there, we can't thank them enough. I/we would definitely go back to this hotel again.

Had a lovely time time here! Location is lovely. Absolutely adore tbe restaurant building, very oldand rustic. The staff have been exceptionally kind and professional and helpful, especially Rosie.

Clean spacious room and excellent breakfast

Check in and parking was fine. The room was okay for what we needed, although we have had bigger rooms previously at other sites. Cleanliness could have been a little better. The main let down here was the Premier Inn branded restaurant. The evening meal took a little bit of time to arrive and items missing from the meal. Although was was hot and tasted okay. Breakfast the next morning was slow. It took just short of an hour to get a cooked breakfast and items missing again. The staffing levels seemed too low for the number of people eating. We didn't mention the missing items on either meal because both the waitress on the evening and a different waitress in the morning were completely up against it. They had guests to greet and seat, orders to take and tables to clear. We didn't know how long the missing items would take to cook and bring out. The juice was empty a couple of times and the table was missing some cutlery. This is not a reflection on the lady's working as they never stopped. I think it is just too much for one person on the shift. We used the hotel because of it's handy distance from Thorpe Park. If visiting again, we would probably consider different eating options next time.

The reception was cool but did what we asked and changed our first floor room to a ground floor one as my husband is disabled and there was no lift. They also brought extra pillows when asked so on the whole no complaints about the hotel. However, the restaurant was less impressive. The table was sticky, as was the floor. Not pleasant. The chairs were very worn. We waited almost an hour for food. Service was very slow. On leaving we saw several staff out smoking. Only one member was inside coping with bar and food orders as well as bill payments. So restaurant leaves much to be desired. The food when we got it was good. X
