"Poor management and staff"
Upon arrival to check in, we were met with a very distressing situation in the hotel reception area. A man was present making hand gestures and speaking to the ceiling, before loudly shouting aggressive and offensive remarks, including “come on you … scum.” This behaviour created an extremely uncomfortable and intimidating atmosphere.
My disabled son and my wife were understandably frightened by the situation, and I immediately requested assistance from staff both to report the incident and to proceed with check-in as quickly as possible. When I raised my concerns, a staff member informed me that the individual was a long-term resident who had been staying at the hotel for approximately three months and that he was “ok.” I explained that, regardless of this, his behaviour was clearly distressing to other guests and made my family feel unsafe within the reception environment. I therefore requested to speak with the manager but was advised that he would not be available until the following morning.
When I spoke with the manager the next day, I was given a similar response, with the behaviour again being dismissed as acceptable. I reiterated that the situation was highly intimidating for guests and that the individual appeared to require appropriate support or supervision. I was disappointed by what I felt was a lack of understanding and concern shown towards the comfort and safety of other guests.
In addition, during our stay I requested fresh towels for our second day. Although the manager advised that this would be arranged, the request was not fulfilled and we were required to follow up again before towels were provided.
I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and have always regarded it highly, with another stay already booked for next month. However, on this occasion, the standard of management response and guest service fell significantly below expectations, which was both surprising and disappointing given my previous positive experiences.

"poor parking advice poor breakfast"
Asked in reception about parking and was informed to ignore the parking charge sign as it was confusing. Just had a £57 parking ticket issued. absolutly seething. Breakfast was poor. first morning was help yourself every thing in the full english was cold. Was told it was because of the fans above the heated dishes, Bad building planning. 2nd morning breakfast order taken and served by staff. Obviously been in the microwave to heat it up. Stayed at this Premier inn in Woking as the last premier inn Woking west was so awful. Premier inn used to be the bench mark Hotel chain, now the standards are so poor. I'm now avoiding them . (I do use a lot of Hotels in this country)

"Comfortable one night stay"
The hotel was a short walk from the railway station and closer to shops and cafes so well located.
The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. The room temperature was cool as I like it but could have been made warmer if needed.
There was a full menu and restaurant available offering a good range of dishes and snacks although I did not eat in in this occasion.
The cost was reasonable for an overnight stay.
My negatives as a solo female traveller were that the reception is in the second floor so the actual entrance of the street is unmanned and there's either a lift or two flights of stairs before you find reception. There are two automated check-in stations but luckily I arrived when the restaurant was open and got assistance from one of the staff there.
Checking out was similarly only manned by someone working in the adjacent restaurant area.
I like an opening window but like many hotels the window was firmly shut and a notice said it was not to be opened.
There were tea and coffee sachets as expected but not enough of either the tea or decaf coffee, since the reception was sparsely manned I chose not to go in search of more supplies, (three floors below) once it got later into the evening.
Overall though it was a comfortable stay in a convenient location.

"A great convenient hotel with brilliant location"
I regularly stay at this hotel and my stay is always satisfactory. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard and the breakfast cooked to perfection. I would particularly like to mention Anna who is the manager there who always conducts herself in a professional manner and always very helpful and attentive to the needs of customers. Anna is a joy to have around and an amazing credit to those around her. Long may she continue in her role as on site manager.

"Twixmas stay"
On arrival ‘Alla’ was extremely helpful and let us know about the onsite parking etc which is not made clear on the website. Only a few spaces but made our visit much easier. Large clean room and at £35 brilliant value. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting family.
