Sunbury (Kempton Park) hotel

Poor staff, poor food at breakfast, small and expensive car park, room was dirty and mouldy. I will never book here again.

Good place to stay if your going to thorpe park 10min down the road. The place is clean staff are friendly and helpful......

Went around twice as we couldn’t find the car park. Until we saw these steel electric gates open. I personally didn’t feel safe walking from the car to the hotel even though the steel gates were closed. Reception was clean, and receptionist was pleasant. The rooms were as expected. Basic for what you needed. Tiny TV. Nevertheless the rooms were clean. Tea & coffee facilities Clean towels Overlooking a block of flats where you could see people doing god knows what on their balconies. It’s the first premier inn I’ve been to where I needed to use the room card to get into the lift. I have since found out this is quite common in some hotels. The restaurant and bar weren’t very well equipped for guests. Many items on the menu out of stock. I asked what cocktails were available, just to have the menu literally forced into my hands. I chose what I wanted only to be told they didn’t have it. Only 1 person on the bar, who clearly hated her job. I spent the majority of my time people watching. I’m guessing the guests were just like us, trying to make the most of the not so great situation. This hotel is local to Thorpe Park, however I wouldn’t take any young children here. We arrived about 6pm and were checked out at 3am. It was ideal for us going to Heathrow, but next time we will choose a different location. All the above are my own views & opinions. My husband agreed with the majority what I said. However he didn’t feel in any way intimidated with the area like myself.

Everything was how we had hoped it would be and exceptional value for money We needed 4 rooms and had requested that they were close together which was actioned in advance Car park charge was reasonable and provided access straight to reception The staff were amazing especially Tegan It was a really easy drive to the airport in the morning

They do well with what they have to work with. We booked 2 rooms for 7 of us visiting Thorpe Park. The rooms are basic but the beds are mostly comfortable and very clean. The bathroom works. We paid for breakfast which included 2 kids free with every adult so 7 of us for the price of 3 adults. The breakfast was adequate and was constantly being replenished. It is 15mins drive to Thorpe Park and I think maybe 1 HR by train into London so a pretty handy location.
