Redhill Reigate hotel

The only good thing about this place was the bed which was very comfy. In addition, a fan had been provided in the room which was helpful as it was very hot even at 10.15pm when we arrived. However, there was NO access at all to drinking water. We arrived after a VERY long drive with two parched children, and I was told the only access to water was in the vending machine. (I didn't want to drink water from the bathroom tap as I didn't want to risk any of my family getting ill the day before we went on holiday.) The vending machine took my money TWICE without dispensing a single bottle of water so I am down £6 and no water. The staff member on the desk did not care at all - told me he had no access to the vending machine and he had no water. He showed me behind the desk and showed me staff's 'personal' water in their fridge but said that was it. I said how could he leave two children without water?! He said go and find somewhere open?! There was nowhere open on foot and we weren't prepared to put the very tired children back in the car and drive in an area we didn't know to find water. His attitude was disgusting!! I had to boil the kettle and wait for it to cool to get water i felt was safe to drink. Absolutely abysmal!! Avoid this hotel!

Booked for a pre flight stay over. Knew we'd arrive in the evening so wanted a quiet dinner, then bed before getting up early for our next morning flight. Therefore the meal deal was perfect. Arrived at 730pm to be told the restaurant closed down 2 weeks ago for evening meals. No pre warning that the pre booked meal couldn't be honoured, and no real apology, and still waiting for a refund on the meal deal we paid for but couldn't have. This is the 2nd bad experience at a premier inn, in recent months - i worry that the move to sell off all yhe restaurants is just going to turn them into the same standard as Travel Lodge

The reception staff are absolutely fantastic we where staying due to a family emergency , the staff managed to get us a room and then when we needed to extend the stay rearrange rooms so we could keep the same room. Nothing was to much trouble despite the really high temperatures and loss of electricity. Credit due as they went above and beyond

Caroline went out of her way to accommodate our early check in and allocated us a convenient room to assist us with all our luggage. Coming straight off a long haul flight this was much appreciated.

The stay was perfect, surrounded by trees and nature. The staff is very kind and helpful :) The room was clean and the beds comfortable, very quiet. It's well located close to bus stops and there's a restaurant with meal deals where you can have breakfast and dinner. Good price for a good stay!! We'll come back again.
