Farnham hotel

The shower pressure wasn't great although the water pressure in the tub was amazing. I would rather have a smaller head with a hard shower than the large soft body of water. Also the floors in the corridor creak really badly every time someone walks past which made sleeping oddly difficult considering the sign to keep quiet and tiptoe!! BUT the room was clean, functional and comfortable. I was happy not to have intrusive daily maid service but also happy to know I could get it if I requested it. The lady at reception was super helpful for me getting a small fridge which I needed for my stay even though I was happy to go out and buy one if necessary. I wish I had her name but Kudos to her for being so helpful and kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Farnham!

Positives * Location - Farnham is a lovely little town with plenty of pubs and restaurants. * Free car park (subject to entering registration number into tablet in reception). Negatives * Complete absence of any hospitality / service. Right throughout my stay, there was never any staff member present on reception. Upon check in, a team member appeared from the back office to process my check in. Nobody present at check out to ask how my stay had been or gather any customer feedback. As an indicator of the lack of customer interest, on leaving the hotel, I passed 2 members of the housekeeping team who could not even acknowledge me as a paying guest and greet me with a ‘good morning’. * No housekeeping service. In a sign of the extreme cost cutting undertaken by this location, housekeeping is only offered upon request. Usually, you would see a flurry of activity from housekeeping at any Premier Inn or other hotel first thing in the morning. Not here, I did not see a single housekeeping trolley on a landing throughout my stay. * Continental breakfast offering poor even by Premier Inn standards. £10 for a small bowl of low quality fruit salad, a piece of barely toasted, poor quality bread and a mug of coffee seems poor value for money. * Strong smell of ‘weed’ in several areas of the landing on floor 1. In summary, I would be unlikely to choose to stay again at this particular location.

Stayed at the Premier Inn Fareham over Christmas while working away and had a really pleasant stay. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well looked after throughout. My room was comfortable, quiet, and perfect for relaxing after long shifts. The staff were extremely helpful and always friendly at reception and in the restaurant. Nothing felt like too much trouble for them during my stay. The food was very good with plenty of choice available each day. Breakfast was especially enjoyable with lots on offer and everything well stocked. The evening meals were also tasty and good value for money. A big bonus was the full gym and swimming pool facilities on site. Both were clean and made a huge difference after busy days at work. The whole hotel had a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout the Christmas period. Would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area for work or leisure.

Standard premier inn which is always good in my opinion. The price was a bit too high. The price makes no sense. It was a random Thursday evening in Farnham. You can hear the people above easily with the creeky floor but it didnt bother me whilst I was asleep. £70 a night would be fair. Not the £118 I paid.

I was disappointed with the level of service during my recent stay. Upon arrival, I noticed that the bed was provided with only one pillow. When I requested an additional pillow for my daughter, the receptionist informed me that no extra pillows were available, without offering any alternative solution or effort to assist. This was surprising, as most hotels have extra pillows in the rooms or typically provide additional pillows upon request. Furthermore, I observed visible stains on the bedding cover, which raised concerns about cleanliness and overall standards. Unfortunately, these issues did not meet my expectations, and I believe there is significant room for improvement in both service and housekeeping.
