Epsom Town Centre hotel

I was disappointed with my stay at Premier Inn Epsom Town Centre. The bed itself was comfortable and the sheets appeared clean, and I appreciated having extra pillows available. However, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to the standard I would expect. There was noticeable staining around the sink plug which looked like it could have been easily cleaned. The shower also had mould around the door frame and on the walls, and the whole shower area was in need of a thorough clean. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday, but our room was not serviced during our stay. The bed was not made and the towels were not changed. I appreciate that room servicing may work differently in budget hotels, but this was not made particularly clear and, for a two-night stay, I would have expected at least some level of housekeeping. There was also no complimentary water left in the room, which would have been a nice touch. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Overall, while the bed was comfortable and the room was adequate for a budget stay, the poor bathroom cleanliness and lack of housekeeping made the hotel feel very basic and, unfortunately, rather cheap. For a Premier Inn, I expected a better standard of cleanliness and presentation. The location is convenient, but based on this experience, I would be unlikely to stay here again unless the cleaning standards improved.

We were greeted with extremely helpful and well mannered and knowledgeable staff who answered all questions and aided in us to have a great stay. Mila and Ines showed that customer service is still natural to some staff these days. Well done and thank you so so much for a great stay.

Overall I had a really pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was really convenient. Check in was smooth and Ines on reception made us feel welcome. The only down side was that we had to request an extra towel.

We have stayed in lots of premier inns around the country and always had a fantastic stay. I have to say that this was our worse premier in stay we have ever had. We stayed for 2 nights as we were taking our little boy to Chessington for his birthday trip. Our first night we were in a room (221) with an adjoining door (I assume for larger parties or people travelling with teenagers). Our next door neighbours were VERY LOUD with children screaming and slamming doors untill 11pm. The adjoining door meant it felt like they were IN our room. We got very little sleep meaning we were all shattered for Chessington. The staff were helpful and friendly on reception and offered us a new room the next day. However, this meant I had to pack up a family of 4, do a full day at Chessington and then unpack again on our return- not ideal. The second room was better (noise -wise) with more respectful neighbours. However, both rooms were noisy with thudding from above floors. Both rooms were also way below premier inns usual standard of cleaning. Both bathrooms were "grubby" with dusty skirting boards and dirty floors. The breakfast is the worst premier inn breakfast I've ever experienced. Anaemic sausage, hard dry bacon (both mornings) and all the breakfast area was unclean with dirty surfaces everywhere. Both mornings most of the tables (of which there are not many) were full of dirty dishes and crumbs. The floor was full of food also. I feel sorry for the staff (often just one of them manning the bar, the reception and the breakfast ares) as they could not keep the area clean. Easily the worst premier inn I've stayed at I'm afraid to say.

Very nice quiet hotel staff were friendly breakfast was nice in middle of town plenty of stuff around if need be could have newn little cleaner in rooms and downstairs in restaurant chairs were stained parking is literally a min walk honestly couldnt complain it was decent stay our son had a great time would definitely return if was that way again thumbs up 👍
