Epsom South hotel

I had a great stay here extremely well looked after by Laura & Harvey the mixed grill was very good 5⭐️

An awful experience because of no air conditioning in the room. They did provide a fan but that just circulated warm air around the room. The window only opened minimally and provided no air. There was also a lack of staff and it was totally unfair on the skeleton staff to provide a service, I use Premier Inn a lot and this was the worst stay that I have encountered. Come on Premier Inn, sort this hotel out because it is creating a stain on your record.

Nice quiet room, comfy bed, great shower, 2 chairs and coffee/tea making facilities- everything we needed. Good choice at breakfast too.

We visited for two nights for my son's birthday party nearby. The location was good and the serving staff were pleasant and friendly as was the signing in staff and cleaning staff. They were very busy and we thought probably understaffed. The food was good and the room clean but the whole place looked a bit down at heel and in need of some tlc The heat was almost unbearable up on the top floor. Although we knew beforehand that there was no air conditioning, it was made worse because we couldn't open the window by more than 4 inches. It was much cooler outside than in the room. The corridor outside our room was like a furnace. A fan was provided but didn't make much difference. We had even taken our own fan but it didn't help much. Our family had rooms down stairs where it seemed cooler so we asked to be moved but after a member of staff checking the temperature of the only room available he told us it was 27 degrees which was the same as ours. We think our room was nearer 30 degrees but we had the impression the staff didn't want to be bothered. We put up with it from another night but would never go back again and would check next time if staying in a Premier Inn if there was air conditioning.

Good food , well cooked . Clean rooms . Newly decorated shower. Ample parking
