"OK for an overnight stay."
Stayed overnight to break up a long journey. Easy to find and good free parking. Efficient and friendly check in. Room quiet and large with a very comfortable bed and bedding. I would have given this 5 stars but the bathroom, although very clean, was in dire need of refurbishment, the bath was very worn, tiles cracked, and fittings a bit rusty. However would stay again.

"Last minute Easter weekend away"
Exactly what it says on the tin. Location was great as a base. Room was a good size with plenty of space for two. Comfy bed which means a great nights sleep. Staff were helpful and pote on checking. The Star Inn next door was good for food and drinks. There was plenty of parking.

"Business trip successfully completed."
Free easy parking, good wifi, very friendly reception staff, clean. Great stay. Unfortunately the pub next door doesn't include evening meals in Premier Inn's meal deals, but the breakfast was great, and I did eat off their menu in the evening which was also lovely.

"Awkward checkin"
Checked in for 1 night last Sunday by a miserable man behind the desk. No warm welcoming approach to guests at all.
It was awkard and uncomfortable. The procedure of checking in with this man felt like going into a police custody cell for the night.
Went back to the desk to ask for another towel, as we only had 1 even tho our booking says for 2. And I just got glared at, silence, literally nothing. It was so awkward. Eventually, he got up from his chair after i explained that we only had one towel.
As a hotel manager myself of over 20 years experience, this man clearly has no customer service skills.
Tip - go above and beyond, it's called giving a personal service, ask how your day was. Smile. Make interest. Have you stayed here before? If not, then welcome.
Anyway, besides checkin, the place was nice, the room was okay, some parts needed some tlc.
The bed was comfortable, and i had a very good nights sleep.
I'd like to mention that the housekeepers the following morning were bright and cheerful. We got a "morning " how are you with added big smiles.
The ladies on the desk also the following morning were cheerful and polite.

"Excellent stay"
Great communication. Arrived late but felt very welcome. Clean room and bathroom. Just what we needed after a long day. Loved the pub next door where we had breakfast. Was amazing too. All round ideal and near Gatwick airport. 10min taxi ride.
