Addlestone hotel

We booked two rooms because we were in the area for a family funeral. We had one accessible room and one regular room both of which were of a good standard. The staff were all very helpful both in the restaurant,day manager on the front desk and particularly Stacey the evening Manager. Thank you all for making a difficult time for us easier.

Hotel floors were not very clean and we were turned away from the restaurant despite having purchased two adult meal deals ahead of time. I spoke to a member of staff at the time as well as the manager the day after to ensure a refund would be issued. 16 days later still no refund. It is the last time I will purchase the meal deal ahead of time as you run the risk of paying for nothing. Finding a member of staff can also be quite challenging as there are self check-in kiosks, but no member of staff in sight.

Richard and his team were excellent. Hotel facilities are very clean and comfortable. Staff go the extra mile to help with easy on line checking in. Ideal base to visit the hospital with Free parking, a big bonus for us! There are a number of bars,restaurants and pubs for a good night out. Excellent for couples and families alike with easy access to Thorpe Park. Thank you Richard for your very kind assistance. We shall certainly be returning soon.

Check in was awful and faceless, not a fan of the computer check in screens, prefer to be greeted by a human. Rarely saw any staff during the 2 days we were there, spoke to a lovely lady to ask about the car park which was easy enough to find and negotiate around, although the spaces were a bit tight, handy that you get an hour to check in and move your bags to the room, as its a good walk back to the hotel from the car park! I did park up on the top floor so there was a bit more space to park as most people parked on the lower floors. Bedding was the most uncomfortable I have slept on in a Premier Inn, but not a lot the staff could do about an uncomfortable bed! Room on the whole was clean, bathroom was clean, no glasses in the room though! Not a lot of tea provided in the room, but if you remember to take it up with you they have a help yourself kind of bar to pick your things up from. Also biscuits are in the reception area, but be quick as they go quickly.. Waitrose next door was handy for some snacks, as was the high street which seemed to be full of take aways and a few sit down restaurants too.. there is also a cinema close by. All in all it was an ok stay apart from the bed situation! Not sleeping for 2 nights is not great when you have a 250+ mile journey back home! It was a quiet hotel, and not too far to walk to the local train station, took about 10 mins to get to it.

The receptionist was extremely helpful during the check-in process. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly, and his kind, welcoming smile made the experience even more pleasant. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it very convenient for travel and nearby attractions.
