Lowestoft hotel

I love Premier Inn rooms, however where we stayed the room failed to go below 27 degrees, even though setting was at lowest, the fan had no impact and the window was barely open due to a security cable. The room and bathroom are great but they need to have a decent cooling system to make the rooms more comfortable, especially in summer months. The beds are comfortable but no way can you sleep in that heat. They need to address this as we cant be the only ones with this issue. I always use Premier but this time i feel if i can't get a good night rest they may have to consider other options.

First time here having used the Travelodge before. Room was clean, tidy with desk and chair. All lights worked and curtains had a blackout lining, useful as it overlooked part of the floodlit car park. Modern double glazed UPVC sash window which kept any road noise out. Shower, bath and basin all functioned well. Clothes hanging rail with 5 hangers. Car park had enough room. Only downside was the rather tired Beefeater restaurant just in front of the hotel. All the chairs and carpet needed a thorough steam clean. Breakfast buffet was adequate and good choices for a cooked breakfast. All staff very pleasant and helpful.

Great location for our trip. Disappointed that rooms didn't have air-conditioning & it was the hottest weekend of the year so they were very very warm. The bar was disappointing as we arrived back at 10.55 to find it had already closed despite the signs saying it was open till 11.00. Had we have known we would've stopped somewhere else for a drink. Their loss as we would've spent at least another £75!!

Just what I needed after a long 6 hour hour drive, taking in road closures and diversions. Was greeted by Jane with a smile and managed to book a time slot for my breakfast with ease. Bed was very comfortable, just what I needed after my long drive. Room and bathroom was very clean. In the morning I went back to reception to see if I could bring my breakfast booking forward by an hour, which the gentleman on the desk was able to do for me within seconds.

Jayne on reception. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel welcome with her humour and warm personality. She goes above and beyond to help, and nothing is ever too much trouble. It's rare to meet someone who can make you laugh after a long day of travelling, but Jayne manages it every time. Outstanding customer service.
