Receptionist was not the greatest, gave us room cards but didn’t actually check us in. Never asked if we wanted food reservations. Never said we had outstanding balance. Hotel needs decorating

We stayed here for one night and 2 of the staff excelled. Joe on reception was excellent. Nothing was too much. He was keen and knowledgeable. Knew his stuff and dealt with us well. 10/10. Adele at breakfast was also excellent. Working hard and was easy to talk to. She was alone but was beavering around furiously. 10/10. The staff in the restaurant in the evening - not that good. Time to talk but not to serve the very few customers there. We waited nearly 8 minutes to be seated while we listened to the staff chatting. 3/10. We normally leave a tip but no chance in this situation. Our main meal took 40 minutes to arrive and a simple dessert 20 minutes. Not good. The room was functional but the car park could do with a make-over. Evening food was ok but breakfast was excellent. Staff can really improve your view of an establishment. The immediate area is very scenic and this venue is excellent for those going to the VERY nearby Jimmy's Farm. We would stay again.

"A great experience yet again.."

A great stay yet again.. we have stayed many times as a family but most recent as a couple as have family in area not far from hotel. the rooms have always been clean and never had any issues. car parking facilities are good and straightforward enough to enter your reg at reception via tablet on the desk. overall a great experience yet again..as has been on previous visit's
