Ipswich South hotel

Travelled 450 miles down from Glasgow as part of the West of Scotland Mens o65 tennis team to play Suffolk the following day. It was a very hot day and the hotel had a fan on in the room plus curtains drawn and window open to make the room as comfortable as possible. Premier Inn beds are always excellent , and for preparation and recovery before tennis the fact they have a bath as well as a shower is essential. Dinner was excellent ( we had the dinner / breakfast package) including the availability of a gluten free option for one of my team. Breakfast also is great, with individually cooked food rather than a buffet. So food is hot, fresh and enjoyable. On top of all of that I stupidly left a small money wallet including my credit card in the bedroom on check out. The hotel secured this in the safe and then arranged to have it securely posted back to me , and it arrived safely a day after I returned home. Excellent service. The whole trip couldn’t have gone better and on top of that we beat Suffolk in the County Tennis match!

Nice place to stay with helpful staff however be aware it is a bit cut off and they shut the bar and restaurant early. There is nothing else to do except watch tv. Sunday there are no buses so you can't even go into town for an evening out.

Friendly helpful staff , good food , clean rooms .

Very rundown down premier inn with beefeater on its last legs as one would assume its just waiting to close down as no investment here as clearly top see, 5 star food & service & food in beefeater as poor staff are understaffed here, Premier inn very dated but with wonderful staff as again poor place need re-vamp.

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel for a friend's birthday, and the atmosphere was calming and friendly . I would like to say a big thank you to one of the receptionist Sheldon who couldn't be more helpful. My room was clean well presented, definitely value for money.
