Ipswich (Chantry Park) hotel

We stayed on the ground floor this weekend . Our room smelt of a foul Oder the doors had hand prints on them mirrors dirty cobwebs in the rooms . 3 towels instead of 4 . Water pressure was awful . If I’m paying for WiFi I expect it to work . The room was allegedly cleaned but someone else’s belongings / clothes were in our room . The next day we were covered in bed bug bites on our back arms and legs very disappointed have never stayed in a premier inn like this . The vending machine was fairly empty especially as there aren’t any shops in walking distance . There was barely anyone at reception when we checked out we were going to report to the receptionist but no one was there . The only positive thing I have to say is that the breakfast was lovely and we made it out alive thank god .

We really enjoyed our stay here. We arrived rather fraught after several unplanned issues earlier on in the day and the staff really looked after us. Everything was spot on and the reception staff were wonderful to us, especially Emily & Kelsey and the very lovely Tammy from Housekeeping. We had a lovely large clean room, comfy bed and amazing pillows which gave my husband the best night's sleep he's had in years, so we ordered two!! The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit salad, granola, yogurt and great poached eggs. The young man who waited on us was Justin who was very polite, helpful and efficient. The hotel had a relaxed feel and we left feeling happy and refreshed. Best wishes to everyone at Premier Inn Chantry Park, Ipswich x

whilst the hotel looked as if its due a bit of a makeover, the warmth of greeting on arrival was superb, lovely genuine smile and so helpful. breakfast always good- coffee excellent! the breakfast greeter on day one was excellent. even the upraded wifi was poor and the IT support never answered my call just recorded messgaes' my toilet flush broke but i guess i was just unlucky im going back to this hotel next month. not all prem inns are this good- the staff made it

This is the second time I have stayed here, the location is close to other areas to visit, there is a nice relaxed & friendly atmosphere, the rooms are spacious, very clean with all amenities, bathroom is a little on the small size but still very clean, I would definitely recommend & is value for money. I had the breakfast & that is cooked fresh & again definitely value for money 😊

Excellent. Lovely warm welcoming staff. Went the extra mile to make our short 2 night stay comfortable. Definitely go back . What the hotel lacked in appearance.. certainly made up for by the exceptional customer service!!
