Ipswich (Chantry Park) hotel

The staff at Chantry Park (Ipswich) Premier Inn were all very polite and respectful. The room was clean and comfortable, as you would expect. Unfortunately, the cooked breakfast was awful! We were told that it was "cooked to order" at check-in, but we had no idea that we would be waiting over 1 hour between ordering and having the breakfast served! My 2-year-old found this very distressing and after 40 mins of waiting, got extremely restless. He only wanted bacon and scrambled egg! The staff were getting a lot of verbal complaints regarding wait-times, orders being incorrect and food being tepid or cold when served. The staff remained so polite but were clearly extremely stressed. They did so well. Just a huge shame the company don't recognise the problem. Do not pay for the cooked breakfast. If you want a cooked breakfast, go to a different Premier Inn. Really ruined the stay and put us (and many others) at risk of staying past the 12noon checkout time.

What a lovely, friendly place to stay. Situated in a quiet part of Ipswich this is a little gem. We arrived late evening and were greeted by reception staff. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. We booked a cooked breakfast which was cooked to order and came out from the kitchen really hot. Delicious. Plenty of car parking spaces. Would stop again.

Lovely comfortable room, easy parking and next door to a quaint, enjoyable pub. Check in and out was easy, great to have options of additional pillows in the room and nice Baylis and Harding toiletries

The staff at this hotel were fantastic ❤️ We stayed there for three nights the weekend of our wedding and they went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. Lee, Nat & Jaz on reception were supper helpful. Selina, Justin & Caroline in the Kitchen made sure we were well looked after x Lou, Sylvia, Vee, Tamjy & Paul ensured the hotel was impeccable for our stay. And Emily caters for all our needs x We shall see you all again x The Maddy’s

Location was good, staff were outstanding - super polite, helpful & cheerful!! The rooms and hotel as a whole were not to the high standard we would have expected from a Premier Inn. The Hotel staff maintenance had obviously been proactive in keeping on top of the rooms, bathrooms etc, but it just felt a little tired around the edges and needs a refurb, not what we have been used to from the Premier inn chain. Slept great, fab staff and handy location, just let down by tired bathroom / bedrooms.
