"Wouldn’t stay again"
Very dated rooms and felt grubby usb sockets didn’t work and the light switches were rusty, the chair needs to be thrown out in the room aswell I wouldn’t go near it

"Great location"
We stayed here purely as a base for our trip to Alton Towers. A very friendly check in from the lady in reception, who was also helpful in organising a table in the restaurant for dinner. Food was average, nothing outstanding but good service from the staff. Hotel room/bathroom was clean and basic, nice and spacious for a family room.

"Fantastic"
We stayed in a family room for 1 night at the end of May 2026 after a busy day at Alton Towers Cbeebies Land. It was just a 10-15 minute drive from the theme park which was fantastic. The room was clean, beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed for 1 night. The air conditioning was amazing. Considering our room was opposite main road/motorway it was very quiet. Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. My only complaint would be the strong smell of sewage at main reception but this would only be a real problem if you were given a room in that building, we were in the building opposite so the smell was only a problem at check in and check out. A mini fridge included in all family rooms would be great as an improvement. Overall very happy, great value for money. Please note the pictures are when we were leaving and we had stripped the beds for the cleaners, they were obviously made up and looked much nicer when we arrived!

"Good hotel, but Premier Inn make contacting them a nightmare"
We spent a night here when we went to Alton Towers. Positives first, the hotel was very pleasant and we found the staff very friendly and attentive. The receptionist was very welcoming and remembered we had phoned to book a table for dinner and checked that we had booked a table for breakfast too. The staff in the restaurant were also very friendly and even though we arrived before the time we had booked they were very accommodating and sorted out a table for us. The restaurant is quite small and you need to book in advance, which brings me on to my second point.
For some reason Premier Inn have decided to make contacting the hotel as difficult as they possibly can. I had an email to say that the restaurant was bookings only so I looked on the website to find out how to book but couldn't find any details so I phoned the telephone number listed and instead of getting through to the hotel I as I expected I got an absoutely usless chatbot, I said I wanted to book a table for dinner and it just responded by saying that I could check the menus by looking on the website! I had to hang up and phone again and just say talk to a person I eventually got through to someone who was very helpful and sorted it out for me. Come on Premier Inn, use your common sense. The website is the first place that people look for answers and they only phone if they can't find what they want there, what's the sense in telling people to look on the website they couldn't find the answer on after they have just been on it and have found the number they found on it? It really does beggar belief. You employ friendly staff that are happy to help but instead of letting them do that you have an automated phone system that seems to be deesigned to annoy people as much as possible so they just give up.
Instead of just pasting your stock reply in why don't you try contacting the hotel yourself and see how much hair you have left afterwards?
