Uttoxeter hotel

As Premier Inns go this one felt very tired and in desperate need of a revamp. Lots of cracks and peeling paint, rooms didn’t feel the normal standard of clean compared to other locations. One benefit was proper AC in the room. Also you need to book for breakfast which I’ve never come across in a hotel restaurant, and would be an utter pain had we not booked in advance over email. Cooked food was lukewarm but tasted ok. Fruit had seen better days. Overall convenient for Alton Towers, but definitely needs upping the standards.

Great location within easy reach of Alton Towers and road connections. Just on the outskirts of Uttoxeter and you can even walk in to Town from the hotel itself. The hotel is a little tired and starting to date and we unfortunately had a temperamental bathroom door lock and air-conditioning unit. The restaurant area was very busy at breakfast and although you had to pre-book, they did still appear to be a bit short on staff so they struggled to clear up and stock both the hot food and drink offerings to meet demand but the staff that were there, worked hard and were welcoming.

Great team, good stay and perfect facilities. I could charge my car in the car park and get dinner and breakfast. Would recommend avoiding peak breakfast times though in the now much smaller restaurant on site.

Nice and friendly place room was very clean the breakfast was ok its the second time I've stopped here it godd as its only 20mins away from alton towers

Stayed at Premier Inn Uttoxeter for one night as we had tickets to go to Alton Towers the following day. We had a lovely welcome from Katie on reception who placed our breakfast time reservation for the morning. Our special needs daughter is a huge fan of premier inn hotels and the staff Katie and Tom made our visit very special by treating our daughter to a very special treat bag. Our stay was very pleasant the room was tidy and clean and we were happy that there was not the bathroom fan noise which we have experienced at other premier inn's. couldn’t have been more helpful. After our evening meal our was warm so we did put on the air conditioning however at intervals it did should like someone had flushed a toilet or water pouring down the wall so had to turn it off. The sink tap in the bathroom only had cold water too so this was reported at reception. A Katie & Tom are real credit to Premier Inn and exactly the kind of customer service that makes a difference really appreciated!
