"Highly Recommended"
The location was brilliant for local amenities such as shopping (food, drink and other). The atmosphere was brilliant. The room was fantastic and it was very clean, as was the whole hotel. It was definitely value for money. The noise level was very low, The overall service was brilliant and the hotel was very close to the amenities

"Great Base For Alton Towers"
We had a 2 night stay, using the hotel as a base for our visits to Alton Towers. Lou was very helpful on the telephone, ringing me back to get breakfast and dinner bookings organised, then again at check-in.
Room was spacious, comfortable and clean with all the amenities you would expect from a Premier Inn. Air conditioning was welcomed but a little noisy.
The staff working in the bar restaurant both nights were friendly and very helpful. Nicole and her team served a great breakfast!
The only thing that lets this hotel down is the size of the bar/restaurant. It has been considerably reduced in size since our visit last year, meaning bookings for breakfast and dinner are essential with little or no flexibility to change time etc. There is also fewer staff, therefore bigger parties in the restaurant can cause delays. Having read recent reviews we were aware of this and phoned ahead but a notice on reception desk highlighted that availability for busy periods was already taken by the time we arrived . This is not something we’ve encountered at other Premier Inns.
Had a great 3rd stay here and would definitely recommend.

"Not convenient, restaurant too small for the hotel"
Booked to stay over night before CBeebies Land with two young children it let us book breakfast on the website but then had no suitable availability in the morning (we could have gone at 6 am which we couldn't do as we got here not long before 11pm or after 10 am which is too late as we need to be at the park). Consequently, we travelled to make it more convenient for us, but actually we now have two hungry children and we've had to go out to a supermarket to try and find something we can't just go to a cafe as we have allergies to cater to that we know Premier inn can normally cater for. Premier in .you e let us down this time we've been refunded for breakfast , but not for our inconvenience. Avoid this Premier Inn or bring breakfast options.

We're handily located just off the A50 at the junction with Derby Road - so while the hotel may not be our quietest, you're in a great position to hit the road and discover everything the area has to offer. Take a flutter at Uttoxeter Racecourse, or a wild ride at Alton Towers. Step back in time at Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood, or explore the ruins of Croxden Abbey. After a busy day, head back for a tasty meal in our restaurant and unwind in your spacious room and extra-comfy bed. Please note, there is a service station and a lorry park next door, both of which operate around the clock.
