Tamworth Central hotel

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable (except for the temperatures in the rooms), and the staff were very welcoming. It's right next to Ventura Retail Park and close to the town centre, so we had plenty to do in the immediate area, while also being close to Birmingham for day trips. The included breakfast option was delicious. It was great value for money. The only down side was that there's no aircon in the standard rooms. We visited at the tail-end of a heatwave and it was almost as hot inside as it was outside, and mostly stayed that way even after the outside temps dropped. It did detract from our enjoyment of the stay.

Nice clean place to stay , five minutes walk to centre of Tamworth Free parking .Very helpful and friendly staff. We had the "Meal deal" which meant that we didn't have to go out searching for breakfast and evening meals .Although the Beefeater was a handy venue, I felt that the menu was very limited ,especially on a three night stay,( very limited on the Gluten Free dietary needs ) but It was adequate and convenient for our short stay. A very busy place but enjoyable surrounding and great staff

Room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable, room is basic but it was as expected. I am lactose intolerant and was told I would have to go to the Beefeater next door to get some milk if I wanted a hot drink in our room, as the don't supply anything in the rooms for me. We had breakfast at the Beefeater in the morning, it was ok, my wife had scrambled eggs which she said were a little watery, the fried eggs were hard, but the sausage and bacon were very nice.
