"Superb"
Perfect stay, really good staff who were very welcoming and great with our little ones. Great breakfast in the beefeater. 10 minutes to drayton manor. Rooms recently refurbished and spotless, welcomed there only being a sheet on the bed with the heatwave.
"Very disappointed! Ridiculously hot and stuffy!"
Very disappointed with our stay mostly due to the room being ridiculously hot and stuffy. Despite the outside overnight temperature being c.14 degrees, the temperature in the room was 27.5 degrees. Even with the window open and 3 fans going, we couldn't cool it down. We all had a terrible night's sleep and felt ill the next day. We complained and cited the Premier Inn good night sleep guarantee. The staff on site were sympathetic and even acknowledged that this was a problem with the hotel. When we contacted Premier Inn by phone, we were told the good night sleep guarantee was not applicable as we hadn't booked a room with aircon, however, we were also told that we wouldn't have been allowed to book an air conditioned room (Premier Plus room) due to the fact that we had two children. The response we received when we escalated our complaint at head office was appalling and showed a total lack of care and compassion. We have regularly used Premier Inn in the past but the experience we had will make us look elsewhere in future.

Overall a good experience. Comfortable and clean room, easy access shower pressure was a little low but not enough to cause a problem.

I booked this hotel for a business meeting i had locally. The location was perfect for me with lots to do in the area and the Beefeater next door. The staff here were very welcoming and accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. I booked a premier plus room as I wanted the air conditioning, the room was spotless qnd smelt fresh on arrival. Breakfast in the beefeater was very busy and I didn't feel they replenished it quick enough, that being said it was very tasty. Would stay again.
"Uncomfortably Hot Stay – Poor Ventilation, Dismissive Customer Service, but Good Location"
I stayed at the Premier Inn Tamworth Central and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The room was extremely hot and stuffy, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. While the hotel did provide fans, they were ineffective and simply recirculated the hot air. When I raised this with customer service and requested a refund under the "Good Night Guarantee," I was repeatedly referred to a clause in their booking terms stating that the guarantee doesn’t apply if a facility (like air conditioning) wasn’t advertised. However, I was able to show that the outside temperature on the day of my stay was significantly lower than the temperature inside the room—indicating that the issue wasn’t just the weather, but poor room design and ventilation. Despite this, my complaint was dismissed without any real consideration, and I was told the case was closed. The response felt cold and inflexible, with no genuine attempt to resolve the issue or acknowledge the discomfort caused. The only positive aspect of the stay was the hotel’s location—it’s conveniently situated near local attractions, which made getting around easy. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the lack of comfort and poor customer care. I won’t be returning and would advise others to consider alternative accommodations, especially during warmer months.
