"Dirty and bad smell of sewage"
Really poor hotel room, not clean, hair in the bath and tiles dirty, dirty carpet, smell of sewage.
Poor level of customer service, felt like we were an inconvenience when asking for basics like an iron.
Premier inns usually are a great go to for cleanliness however this has put our whole family off returning.

"Service-atmosphere"
The front of the hotel is so lovely, until I noticed the unacceptable behavior of some staff members towards their colleagues. I had dinner there with a friend and thought it was best to report it. All staff deserve to be treated equally, not the other way around.

"Disgusting family room"
Avoid this hotel if you are looking for cleanliness. Absolutely disgusting. Hair, nails, grime and thick dirt in a family room. Only stayed for one night and as there was not an alternative room we slept with our clothes on...
Restaurant next door is ok, food passible. Staff however are very nice both in hotel and restaurant.

"BASIC HYGIENE STANDARDS NOT MET"
We arrived at the hotel after spending the day at Alton Towers. When getting in our room we were absolutely appalled at the cleanliness of it.
The floor hadn’t been hovered, there was hair in the bathroom and beds, some kind of bodily fluid (sick/poo) on the outside of the toilet base, as well as urine, thick and sticky dust on ALL skirting boards, black marks on shower curtain, stain on top of bed sheet, limescale/dirty marks on cups.
We complained to receptionist, she apologised, gave us complimentary breakfasts and was moved into a different room (which was apparently checked before we moved into it) but again we were disgusted with how grim it was, in this room there was dust on surfaces/skirting boards, cobwebs, dirty marks around taps, hole in bed linen, debris on the windowsill, mud marks on wooden doorframe.
We also noticed how grim the communal corridors were, they couldn’t have been hovered in a while, debris all over the floor!
At this point we were reluctant to go for the breakfasts the following morning as was unsure what cleaning standards would be like but thought we’d take a look, and it was no shock to see similar standards here too!
Cold food, we made sure not to have any meat anyway, but beans and hash browns were cold, everything on the continental buffet was running very low, staff had just plonked a box of butter on the side and hadn’t bothered to even put it in the container it should’ve been in, dirty used bowels of half eaten food we’re sitting on the buffet area when we arrived and were still there when we left, loads of tables still needed to be cleared yet staff were stood about chatting to each other and had no sense of urgency to get jobs done.
When I got home I complained to guest relations and they have since refunded us the 2 breakfasts and £51 towards the cost of the room so meant we still had to pay £45 for such a filthy dirty room where staff can’t even adhere to basic hygiene standards!!
We have stayed in many premier inn hotels but over the past year or 2 we can slowly see their standards are dropping, we will now stick to independent B&B’s in the future!

"super helpful staff ."
After some shocking customer service across the road in the shire .our group of 13 left there and came back to the social restaurant. Inspite of the extremely short notice and the size of our party they couldn't be more helpful. All the staff are a credit to the business happily helping us with a smile despite the late hour.
