"Scammed by Premier Inn and Horizons"
No stayed here but my review relates to using the facilities. I used the Geniepoint EV charger on 13th May for about 20 minutes (top-up) and today I received a Penalty Charge Notice for £57!! Apart from on this website the lack of instructions is terrible. One would assume as is the case with MOST EV chargers that parking is covered whilst charging. I saw nothing on the charger or other signs directing me to "login at reception". I'm writing this to warn other EV drivers who are seen as a easy target and easy money cash machine for Premier Inn and Horizons. Honestly, disgusting behaviour. All you need to do is turn the camera to the right by 2 metres and you'll see my car plugged in. You could also check with Geniepoint themselves. But no, easy money, easy money. Scammers.

"Life In Spitfire Premier Inn"
2nd Time here now. Absolutely Amazing staff, I have been to many hotels and haven’t much staff as great as Emma, Poppy, Jake (great chef), Kate, Katie, Matt, libby and Sharon. Yeah!! they so good I know all their names. Will definitely be coming again!!! #lemonarde

Cracking service from Kate, Emma, poppy, dylan, Jake, Katie, Matt and all other restaurant staff. Although I did see another review saying about the size of the smothered chicken and I have to agree, the actual piece of chicken is smaller than it could be. However every other aspect of this hotel is spot on.

"Worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed at"
The worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. Staff need training in dealing with disabled guests. Doors in hotel are too heavy to move when solo with a wheelchair. Dinner - prawn cocktail with stale bread. Main course (gammon) was very good. Breakfast - the “eat as much as you like hot buffet” was changed to “cooked to order”. When I asked why, apparently “head office” has dictated that if there are less than 70 covers, they switch from the buffet menu. Toast was out of reach, as was the toaster, from my wheelchair. Staff saw me struggling, but offered no assistance. A fellow guest made the toast for me. No marmalade. I was promised that someone would come to my room to help me get to breakfast at 08h00. No one came, so I complained to reception only to be told “no message was left from the night staff. My accessible room was clean, bed comfy, and bathroom ideal. Throughout my stay, most interactions with staff did not receive any apology. I complained to the manager and received a refund for breakfast.

"Breakfast cold"
Don’t bother with the breakfast as it is cold even at 7:30am.
Make sure you do not have to share a towel in a twin room as can be embarrassing.
Close all the windows as the noise from traffic nearby will keep you awake all night.
