"Wonderful staff and peaceful hotel"
My husband and I stopped here to break up a long drive and we couldn't be happier. The staff on arrival were very welcoming and the hotel was peaceful.
At breakfast both Jayne and Will gave us excellent and friendly service and we both ate well. Thank you so much for a much needed peaceful night.

Great value as always staying close to where I needed to be. A quiet relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Jayne and Paula looked after us well at breakfast, the food was nicely cooked and tasted great. Friendly welcoming smiles all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable quiet room for a 1 night stopover Decent pub next door for dinner- Shire Horse
Freshly cooked breakfast was very good- and Paula the chef gave us great friendly service, and perfectly cooked poached eggs. Emily and PK were lovely too.
Would definitely stay here again.

"Great halfway stop to the Peaks."
