    "Great stay!"
Stayed here as a family for a trip to Alton Towers, very happy, lovely clean and very comfy beds, amazing breakfast and lovely friendly staff. Thank you
    "Unbearably hot Room"
We stayed here to break up a long journey and have a fresh start before heading to Alton Towers. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. Our room was on the third floor, where the loft space has been converted. It was exceptionally hot the heating displayed 32°C. There was also no air conditioning which we did know but you couldn’t open the windows fully which prevented no ventilation There was simply no way to cool the room down, and as a result, we got no sleep at all. I contacted the customer service team to suggest that guests should be warned about this when booking during warm weather but the response was completely dismissive. It’s frustrating to see that this seems to be a known issue, based on other reviews, yet nothing is being done to address it. We’ve used Premier Inn many times before, but after this experience, we won’t be returning. I’d really hate for other families’ weekends to be ruined like ours was.
    "Goodnight Guarantee Does Not Exist"
Generally, we have a good overnight stay here in our way back from Scotland. This time however, we did not. The room was on the top floor and airless. It was so hot, we felt exhausted. There was a fan in the room, but, it just contributed to the noise element and did not really cool the room down. There were roadworks going on outside on the roundabout all night too. Neither of us slept well and we did inform the receptionist who gave us a card to contact Customer Service regarding their Goodnight Guarantee. I duly contacted them with details of the stay. 5 days later I received an email requesting all the information I had previously sent them in my initial contact. They said they could fully investigate after this had been supplied! Today, another 5 days later I am informed that they will not honour their Goodnight Guarantee because the hotel states it does not have air conditioning. There was no mention of the all night noise from road works. Really, the Goodnight Guarantee is worthless. I am very disappointed in their Customer Service. I will definitely return to staying overnight with one of their competitors like we used to. I would like to point out the staff at Hurricane are really nice and polite and a credit to the hotel. It's the Customer Service team that let the chain down and renege on a satisfaction guarantee.
    "A Good Place to Stay"
Very professional and frinedly staff, especially Paula & Lou (breakfast staff) who were most welcoming and friendly. Well presented room.
    "Amazing place to stay!"
Just completed a 2 night stay here to take my children to alton towers and I cannot fault it. Only a 30ish minute drive away from the theme park and had a few amenities nearby such as a pub, a starbucks and the town nearby. We were checked in by the lovely Maryam (i dont know if I spelt that right!), she was amazing from start to finish and had a smile on her face the whole time. The hotel has a lovely little breakfast room for guests which serves a full English and continental items too. I would say the only downside is that they dont serve dinner but there are 3 restaurants within walking distance, the shire horse which is right next door to the hotel, the Chinese buffet which is around the corner and the restaurant next to the sister hotel Spitfire across the street from Hurricane. All the staff were absolutely amazing from check in to check out. Would definitely stay here again!
