      "Comfortable but tired"
Overall tired hotel. Needs a makeover. Clean comfortable bed and bathroom. Tv did not work and reception unable to sort. Confusing guidance about parking. Step over shower. Breakfast and dinner at adjacent pub operating as separate franchise.
      "Terrible Nights (Non) Sleep"
If you like a room that’s 28 degrees with no air con, a truly exceptional and close up view of Screwfix warehouses, and the ability to play “guess the brand of truck thundering past the window all hours of the day and night” then I highly recommend this hotel. There is a fan in the room that’s basically like a small kitten gently blowing on your face , so that was very helpful. And it’s tired - needs moving up the estate renovation list for sure. I normally love a Premier Inn, but this one was rubbish.
      "Not longer my go to..."
I am becoming less and less likely to use Premier Inn as my preferred accommodation for business purposes, and I certainly wouldn't choose it for personal trips. As with other Premier Inns I have stayed at, this one is showing its age (and its high usage) and is no longer a value for money option. I used to say that you know what to expect from a Premier Inn but feel this is no longer the case and it is not the Premier Inn as advertised on TV!
"Rubbish new shower heads, but decent hotel"
Stayed for work, always a decent hotel, the rooms are clean and well looked after. The only issue I have is we seemed to have a new type of shower head which sprayed multiple tiny fine jets of water everywhere, it’s impossible to not get water all over the floor with them, there was a huge puddle when I got out despite the curtain being closed. I think it’s a water saving design as the fine jets of water were useless, there’s no power nor any water volume so I struggled trying to rinse shampoo out of my hair, I would describe it as being similar to that type of fine rain that wets you through, imagine trying to rinse your hair clean when in rain like that! I stay in different premier inns weekly and have done for close to a decade and I’ve never encountered anything like it, by far the worst shower head I’ve ever used, even a normal shower with low pressure would have done a better job. But other than that, this hotel is pleasant. A little hot in the rooms as there’s no air con but a fan was provided.
"Great location off M6 - typical Premier Inn"
Excellent hotel. Very clean. Professional, helpful and polite staff. Great breakfast. Lovely room as always with everything we needed for the one nights stay. Good location just off M6. We can't praise highly enough the breakfast lady. She cooks most of the breakfast fresh for you and has a very cheery nature. Good pub next door to eat dinner in
