"5* - FANATASTIC AND IMMACULATELY CLEAN."
We've stayed here several times before, but understand that it has recently had a refurbishment. Having stayed the previous night in another establishment, (not a Premier Inn) nearby, this was like going from a squat to a 5* hotel! It was beautiful! The decor was immaculate, the room was squeaky clean, the mattress was so comfortable, bed linen and towels were spotless, and the shower room was sparkling clean! And there was aircon - and quiet, too! We were in heaven! We loved the glass coffee mugs which could double as wine glasses, and the purple night light in the shower room. The shower was huge, with nice toiletries, big fluffy white towels and both waterfall and hand held showers. As we checked out (wish we could have stayed till check out at 12!!) we saw the cleaner and I complimented him on the fantastic standard of the rooms. He obviously took pride in his work and is a real asset to this Premier Inn.
"Good premier inn but some issues this time"
Premier inn is a lovely premier inn up to date rooms really clean great staff. Now the downsides the bar closed at 8.30.pm.om.a Sunday night. But the man serving was a lovely man This is terrible what if you didn't arrive till 9 pm. Also the breakfast this time wasn't up to standard. The sausages were only about 2 inches long the bacon very fatty the tomatoes cold and the hash browns rock hard a real disappointment please take notice of these comments because as I say this is a really nice premier inn with good staff Anne Walker
"Great stay"
Great first stay. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean spacious room. Nice quiet location. Large car park. Tucked out of the way with a pub next door and a McDonald’s across the road. Would definitely return in the future if we were in the area!
"Wonderful comfy stay"
We have stayed here multiple times over the year's as it's great when we travel back to Staffordshire as we moved away down south over 20 year's ago. It's quite an tucked away but also conveniently close to the town and local amenities. The staff were so very friendly and some have worked there for year's especially Ian the night evening receptionist. He's become a friend over the year's and goes out of his way to be helpful and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the internet is spotty and dips a lot. Also the televisions are basic. Having a smart telly that has YouTube on or other apps would be so useful.
"Fantastic stay"
We booked this last minute to attend a wedding in the local areq due to being let down last minute by Airbnb. Weren’t expecting much as wouldn’t normally stay in a premier inn but was extremely pleasantly surprised - hotel was immaculately clean, customer service professional and bed one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. The staff really went the extra mile and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
