Directions: M6 (J16), take exit for the A500 (South) towards Stoke-on- Trent, leave at the 2nd slip road signposted Newcastle- Under-Lyme and Talke (A34), this will then bring you to a roundabout, take the 4th exit for A34 South. At the next roundabout take the 4th exit and then leave the A34 by taking the slip road to Premier Inn Newcastle under Lyme. Bus 34a goes direct from newcastle to hotel, situated on the main A34. Firstly, the staff here are brilliant, we were greeted by a friendly guy on reception when we arrived, I think his name was Noor? Really helpful and smiley! Always said hello and asked how our day was when we saw him throughout our stay. The housekeepers were also friendly and helpful, as were the bar and restaurant staff. We chose here as our preferred choice Trentham gardens was full. The food was ok, breakfast was a bit thin on the ground and staff seemed rushed off their feet, although always willing to help. We stayed on the ground floor and could here every single footstep in the room above, if they woke in the night it would wake us up every time, luckily not my daughter! The beds were comfy though and the room was clean.

"Good value for money"

check in was quick and the receptionist was very pleasant. the room was let down by being just that bit too small to add the extra bed to make it a family room. if that wasn't there it would have been quite spacious but with it there we all had to climb in to bed from the bottom as there was no room between them. the room and the whole place was spotless. the restaurant was nice and the breakfast was great, good variety and everything was hot. the staff were very nice.Breakfast was extra and worth it

"Excellent"

We stay at this hotel several times a year and it's always a pleasure. Everyone is great especially Moses, Noor and Libby along with her great housekeeping team. The rooms are of a good standard as would be expected of Premier Inn, and the location is great. The only drawback is having to go to Talke roundabout and double back to get to Newcastle but that isn't the hotel's fault.

"Fantastic Stay"

We recently stopped at this hotel ! What a great place. All the staff were friendly from reception, to housekeeping, to restaurant and management. Nothing was too much trouble. Made us feel at home. **ADVICE** Ignore all the negative comments on here, as its not a true reflection on the Premier Inn.. Will stop here more often now.. Great Hotel, Clean, Comfortable and Outstandibg Customer Service !! 10/10

stayed in this hotel once as I’m use to travelodge and glad we switched back. The cleaners left pubic hair all over the toilet and bath tub. Scratch marks all over the walls and bogies on the bed linen
