"Do not stay in room 104."
We stayed in Room 104 after specifically requesting a quiet room, yet it was one of the noisiest hotel rooms we have ever experienced. Throughout the entire night, my family and I were repeatedly woken by the reception door constantly slamming shut. The noise was relentless and completely unacceptable, especially for a room supposedly allocated as “quiet.”
To make matters worse, the room was unbearably hot, making it impossible to get comfortable or rest properly. Between the excessive heat and the constant banging from the door, none of us slept at all.
I did raise these concerns with the manager, Alex, during our stay and he listened to my comments, but unfortunately this did not change the experience we had already endured.
I am extremely disappointed with our stay. We paid for a comfortable night’s sleep and received the complete opposite. This was genuinely one of the worst experiences we have had at a Premier Inn.
We also booked a meal deal. The food was worse than that you would get in Wetherspoons. Hard, over cooked pizza, stale burger buns, bland katsu with chicken nuggets, incorrectly presented aperol spritz. Avoid at all costs.

"Wouldn't stay anywhere else."
We have stayed at this hotel so many times over the last 18 months as our daughter is studying at Keele University. We always get a friendly welcome, and are being recognised (especially by Tom). Even when we arrived back from holiday in the early hours of the morning we were greated warmly and quickily checked in so we could get some sleep.
We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. We look forward to our future atays over the next two years.

"An easy pleasant stay"
Located out of town but on a main road and easy to find. Efficient reception and excellent room. Very clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Peaceful.Patking is excellent and plentiful.

Lovely series! Bridget was very friendly, nice to meet a New Zealander during travels! Easy access to the motorway. We had an issue with our heater. Emma quickly resolved this and brought in another heater. The restaurant was good too.
