I had a fantastic experience at the hotel and wanted to give a special mention to Bridget, who was absolutely outstanding.
From the moment i arrived, Bridget was incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she genuinely went above and beyond to make sure i was looked after and had everything i needed. Her warm personality and attention to detail really stood out and made my stay that much more enjoyable.
Bridget is a real credit to the hotel and exactly the kind of person who turns a good stay into a memorable one. Exceptional service from start to finish – thank you, Bridget!

"Usual standard of a Premier inn hotel room, same can't be said for the customer service"
I'll keep this short, the room and hotel were up to the usual good standards of a Premier Inn. However, the customer service from reception was disgusting.
Rude and did not even acknowledge upon arrival when leaving and saying thank you!

Overall, this is one of the Premier Inns that you get on a budget. Paying £60 I wasn't expecting their top-tier quality and I was right to expect that. The reception staff are very helpful and the beds are comfortable, as is the case with most Premier Inns, however there were a few issues that need to be highlighted.
- Room was not clean. There was women's hair under the bed covers and glitter on the sofa. There was also areas of mould in the corners of the room (Room 101 for reference).
- Premier Inn bathrooms need updating...fast! The extractor fan barely worked and the "powerful" shower is not even close to powerful. When you're spending money to stay overnight somewhere, you expect it to be on-par (or better) that your home residence.
Overall I'd only recommend this hotel if the price is <£70, otherwise there's plenty of others in the surrounding area.

Hotel was spotless
Emma in reception was absolutely amazing. Smooth check in. She was so good with our 2 kids. She asked them to colour in a picture for her and hand them in. After the kids handed them in she chapped the door with a gift for them each. Absolutely made their night!
She is a credit to the hotel.
Breakfast was delicious.
We will definitely stay again!
