"Very friendly staff"
Lovely series! Bridget was very friendly, nice to meet a New Zealander during travels! Easy access to the motorway. We had an issue with our heater. Emma quickly resolved this and brought in another heater. The restaurant was good too.

"Great Reception Staff"
I'm a business user and stay at this hotel on a fairly regular basis. I would like to thank the reception staff for their excellent customer service and friendliness.
No matter what time of day, they are always willing to help and go the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable which counts for a lot when working away from home for weeks at a time.
Thanks again and will see you soon!

"Quiet, restful experience."
I've stayed here a number of times because it's convenient for visiting family. I've always found my stay great. Some rooms could do with updating but have always been spotlessly clean. Tommy, on the front desk has consistently been friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

"Perfect"
went to the premier inn on talke road with my girlfriend the women at the reception named Emma, made my whole day she had brought some wine and flowers to my room because i had told her i was asking the big question to my girlfriend, such a polite and kind gesture as she didn’t have to do it but decided to, Thank You Emma💙

"Poor Customer Experience"
Guest at the hotel. No one at reception at 1am on 22/03/26 when I arrived to check in, although the 2 doors leading to reception were open (potential security risk). I pressed the buzzer but there was no sound to suggest this was working. It took several minutes before a lady appeared, looking visibly irritated. Her opening statement was "You know you shouldn't be pressing the buzzer repeatedly!". She was impolite and acted as though she is not paid for this role.
I noticed a live spider by the table in the room. It was obvious this had been there for a while as it had its web well established. It is worth noting that I developed itching on my skin and stuffy nose after moving into this room - unclear whether this is directly linked to the presence of this spider.
I requested to have the room cleaned on Monday, and to my utter surprise, came back to find the spider still present at the same spot - a clear testament to the thoroughness (or lack thereof) of the cleaning. I have before-and-after pictures clearly showing timestamps to back this up.
I took the necessary steps and contacted customer care via the WhatsApp number stated on the Premier Inn website but got no response, even after 72hrs.
Overall, it has not been a pleasant experience. The customer care service is poor and so is the level of cleanliness of this particular hotel (Premier Inn, Talke. Newcastle-under-Lyme).
I am unable to recommend this hotel to other travellers or tourists.
