Wanted to visit the National Memorial Arboretum and catch up with friends in Ashby De La Zouch and this seemed to be the perfect location.
Usual comfortable Premier Inn room but this with the added bonus of a walk-in shower. Just under a 2 mile walk into the centre of Burton but an easy walk with footpaths all the way. Handy supermarket across the way for all those things you forget to pack - a plug for USB cable to charge phone this time! Reception came to our rescue the 1st night as it was a Sunday so supermarket not open late.
Took advantage too of the free breakfast offer and we weren't disappointed. Everything you could want. First day was buffet style and second was cooked to order - both days by the chef Beata Donna - each day perfect. Chef even came to our table asking if we wanted anything else and said she would cook freshly for us but already eaten more than ample.
