Sheffield City Centre (Angel Street) hotel

Only £38 for a Monday night during the June heatwave. Top/5th floor room with a highly effective air con unit and a quiet nights sleep. Both lifts were working and the girls on Reception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value at £10.99 and both the sausages and bacon were of better quality than other Premier Inns I've experienced recently. The location was within a short walk of the Crucible for my night at the theatre. I always consider this hotel when looking for a hotel in the centre of Sheffield.

The area this hotel is located is fairly rundown, opposite a large police station and Magistrates court. It is a 15 minute walk from the train station, easily manageable. The hotel is tidy and modern in the communal areas. We had a Premier plus room, good size, spacious bathroom with excellent shower, fridge and coffee machine, on the 5th floor. A bonus to have windows that open, within safety restrictions. Appreciated the water in the fridge and the chocolate. Breakfast was included in our deal, plenty of choice and welcoming staff. We had dinner on our arrival evening and thought the menu had a decent selection of food. The staff made us aware of a further deal. We thought the whole experience was good, staff helpful and welcoming. A good introduction to Sheffield.

My wife and I have just returned from a short stay here Everything was perfect and we would certainly stay here again. A shout out to Netti, on reception, who was fantastic. I had made a mix-up with the booking but Netti sorted everything out. We saw her a few times during our stay and she was always a true professional, with a smile on her face. She seemed a genuine person and was keen to help. She is a real credit to the Premier Inn brand

Good location, with a clean room. The staff were really helpful. A particular shout out goes to Tim with the beard who was absolutely lovely when one of my sons was sick.
