"Excellent stay!"
We had a fantastic stay, the room was exceptionally clean, with a large comfortable bed and a massive walk in shower. Breakfast was excellent - we stayed for the filming of Gladiators so the hotel and breakfast were exceptionally busy but Matt had everything under control and ensured that we had a table quickly and had everything that we needed! I can’t think of anything that could be improved! The arena was literally a 3 minute walk so perfect for anyone attending an event there! We would definitely stay again!
"Excellent customer service"
Staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and despite being in a stressful situation due to how busy the restaurant was, Anthony and Richie kept their professionalism (and sense of humour!) and went above and beyond expectations to ensure we had a good visit. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family wanting to stay in Sheffield.
"Functional for the purpose, but no more!"
The hotel is really close to the Sheffield Arena which was perfect for the event we were attending. The room was a standard Premier Inn room. The air conditioning wasn’t the best and four people in a room meant a lot of body heat created which equalled a mediocre nights sleep. The internet was very temperamental so if you are on a business stay, be aware. The staff were brilliant at trying to sort it, but it didn’t happen. When it was reported to head office, their answer was that it was a free service (nothing is free in a hotel, it’s all in the price) and they are sorry! Breakfast filled us up and it didn’t take long to get a seat. Service with a smile must be extra, because the woman running breakfast clearly left her smile at home. When I pointed out that the yoghurts were frozen, I was told they were aware of the problem. Basically we know, but we’re not doing something about it! This hotel is ok if you don’t want the internet they provide, and you don’t mind being greeted with a grimace. Good luck!
"Perfect start to a day out"
We visited for breakfast on the way to an event at the arena and we're set up perfectly for the day. Both Ritchie and Anthony were very accommodating for our group of 6 and did everything they could to enable us to be seated and fed. As always the food was perfect 👌
"Highly recommend"
We stayed here for the evening ahead of an event at Sheffield arena. We ate dinner in the evening which was delicious and very affordable. The level of service from the staff was second to none and we felt very looked after. The room was clean and perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids and we all slept well. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice for all and again, the level of service from staff was amazing. We felt like they couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend and we will be back. Thank you.
