"Budget hotel in need of a refurb"
Booked the hotel for its location as we travelled up for an event at the Utilita Arena.
On arrival the car park is not in great condition with plenty of potholes, so drive in slowly. The carpark is privately owned so is chargeable (£3.50 per night I think) although there are no barriers so not secure - Don’t forget to pay & enter your reg via the machine at the front entrance otherwise you will get fined!
The reception area is very small & would be a squeeze when more than one booking is trying to book in especially if you’re family with more than one bag, case, holdalls etc. The receptionist open arrival was a bit blunt & peculiar. Not very welcoming or accommodating.
The room we had (40) was a typical double hotel room, spacious & ok for nights stay. The bed was comfy enough whilst furniture was ok & adequate for a short stay. The bathroom is a good size & the shower has good water pressure although we didn’t have hot water in the room for several hours due to an issue, which was very frustrating after a long drive & with two young children.
*Note, there are parts of the room & bathroom that are in need of a makeover/refurb whilst carpets in all areas of hotel are in need of a deep clean.
Breakfast (at the on-site Beefeater) was cooked to order whilst there was fruit, cereals & pastries from the continental section along with tea/coffee machine & cold drinks (Apple or Orange Juice, Water etc. The waitress was lovely & pleasant, which was a far cry from what we had the night before.
WiFi was free & you could connect from room but was hit & miss.
A budget hotel that needs plenty of work doing to it!

"A great place to stay, made special by the staff."
A basic Premier Inn?? Possibly but well worth a visit. The rooms are a good size and we had a good night sleep. The fan in the room was excellent!
The best part by far are the staff, friendly, helpful, every single one of them! I wish I could name them. The lady on arrival had sorted out our room request perfectly. Also I need to mention the lady who sorted out an Uber for us, a star.
We had just come from 2 nights at a posh hotel in Harrogate, and fine, they had a lovely bar and restaurant but the room was smaller and very noisy at night.
Breakfast at the Beefeater was good and the waitress very good but we did hear that the other meals fell way below standard. We have stayed at the Hellaby Hall in the past but it will be the Premier from now on.

"AMAZING!!!"
Courtney and her team were amazing. Everything I asked she delivered in swift time. Long journey to get here and I was welcomed with a cold bottle of water to hydrate my thirst
