Rotherham East (M18/M1) hotel

A basic Premier Inn?? Possibly but well worth a visit. The rooms are a good size and we had a good night sleep. The fan in the room was excellent! The best part by far are the staff, friendly, helpful, every single one of them! I wish I could name them. The lady on arrival had sorted out our room request perfectly. Also I need to mention the lady who sorted out an Uber for us, a star. We had just come from 2 nights at a posh hotel in Harrogate, and fine, they had a lovely bar and restaurant but the room was smaller and very noisy at night. Breakfast at the Beefeater was good and the waitress very good but we did hear that the other meals fell way below standard. We have stayed at the Hellaby Hall in the past but it will be the Premier from now on.

Courtney and her team were amazing. Everything I asked she delivered in swift time. Long journey to get here and I was welcomed with a cold bottle of water to hydrate my thirst

Don’t even consider if the outside temperature is above 25 degree as the room has no AC and you can’t open the windows due to some stupid H&S rules. Bath leaked so floor was wet. You have to pay for parking even though you’re paying a premium rate for what is now a very budget hotel.

lovely place, i stay at least twice a year, old and new faces, all as freindly as eachother, will be back again, shame to see the beefeater go.

Until now we have never had a problem when staying at a premier Inn we booked in on 24th May after a long drive, we checked in and about a hour or so later the fire alarm went off we left the room at meet outside reception after the fire brigade arrived and checked everything out we were allowed to return to our room, we were told someone on the top floor had left the hot tap on and overflowed and water had gone through the floor boards, myself and my wife got no sleep as all through the night we heard heavy footsteps above us and sounded like a herd of elephants, next morning we had to feel our way down the corridor as there was no lighting due to water in the electrics we tried to use the light on our phone as we were going down to reception my wife fell over due to not being able to see and has lack of mobility which is why we were on the ground floor as hotel had no lift , the man on reception was helpful but there was not much he could do as they were following head office policy and said we would need to speak to guest relations we contacted guest relations and the person on the phone could not be less helpful and did not seem to care about the problems we had at the hotel
