Doncaster (Lakeside) hotel

This hotel is conveniently located off the motorway and is next to a Beefeater restaurant. Plenty of parking is available and you register your car at reception. The rooms are what you expect from Premier Inn but I recommend you ask for a room with no rooms above as you can hear people above walking around - the floors creek a lot.

Beautiful walk round the lakeside. Lots of shops and restaurants. Fab staff especially mandira on the desk, great help and an assest to the hotel

Arrived to a rude receptionist demanding another customer provide all information or he cant check in, she then triee to tell me my details on the booking were wrong and due to an incident there they had to verify everyone. Well to start you dont tell guests they has been an incident that put me right off to start. I guess she was going to ask me for fingerprint,dna swab and credit file check next. Was told i HAD to give a time for breakfast and could not just got when i wanted.(Went at the allocated time and was empty,pointless forcing me to give a time)She then didnt mention the lift was broken and had to use the stairs with heavy luggage. Thanks for that. Got to the room and the ac was locked to 19 and cant be changed. Great in this weather. Enjoyed the people above using the floor as a trampoline. Avoided beefeater as overpriced. Went for breakfast and the food was covered in flies and disgusting. Wont be back here as never had so much nonsense before at a premier inn. I guess they will have metal detectors and xray machine next as they dont seem to let you check in with the staff. What is funny if i had checked in by email or the self serve machine would have had none of the interigation by the receptionist.

Awful, needs demolishing. Worst Premier inn we have ever visited by far, haven’t a good thing to say about it. Gave it one out of five as there is no minus score.

First stay in Doncaster lakeside. Staff were amazing, clean room comfortable bed and most importantly during a heat wave, air conditioned.
