    "Warm welcome"
    We stayed on a Saturday night because we were meeting friends for a night out. The lad on reception was very welcoming but that was the only good thing about the hotel, it has the feel that it is about to close down. Our room was in dire need of a good renovation, the toilet was leaking and we had to put a towel round the bottom of it plus all the panels in the bathroom were falling apart. Premier inn management need to start investing some money into their brand. I had rung in the week and asked for a quiet room but even though we were located on the top floor we could hear boy races flying about all night so sleep was really hit and miss.

    Absolutely terrible food stone cold and the girl who works there called Molly with brown hair as bad hygiene never clean and handling food bin here several times "AVOID" at all costs

    Great location rooms very clean couldn't have asked for better. Staff was really helpful and polite. If around barnsley would recommend staying here

    Stayed for one night for the first time, came into Barnsley by public transport, eventually saw the hotel, walked all the way round,past a park and could not find the entrance.Turned around past a multi storey car park and decided to go in on foot,past barriers and found a lift, there is no signage so we pressed every floor.Anyway its on floor 4, very bizzare.We asked if we could get a drink and something to eat to be told food didn't start until 6pm,guy said he would open the bar at 3pm but after returning back down stairs nothing was open, I counted 4 staff milling about and thought it odd they were turning money away.The room was comfortable and very clean and we did get a drink at 6pm but was forced to eat out.

    Awful parking for disabled blue badge in basement next to crash barrier and concrete post on other side next to a lift that don't work had to oay extra ti park forc24 had all other levels of multi story are residents only had to struggle up 7 levels of emergency staircase to premier inn reception very dodgy staircase weeks unsafe crime paradise? Then sent another 3 levels up in tge sky yo room on level 3
