Barnsley Central M1 J37 hotel

Dirty room badly maintained understaffed food absolutely atrocious never again £210 for a room evening meal breakfast that we never had and also had to keep curtains closed as was overlooked by apartments

Sammy was brilliant on the front desk really helpful

Once again my wife and I stayed at the Premier Inn Barnsley central. As in our past stays we never had any problems, we have always found the Reception staff very helpful, and always willing to help out if we had any queries however small. We can also say the same with the Restaurant staff who very very polite and helpful, they were always at hand if required. Overall we had a great stay and this can only be achieved with the staff at the Hotel.

I stayed here for work and it was perfect for me. The hotel is having some renovations at the moment but I was told in advance this was happening. The room was dated but clean. The staff are great. They are always there if you ever need anything.

Building works going on at the hotel, which weren't advised until after booking. No restaurant facilities whilst work is being done. Reception area was a building site, and place wasn't appealing. No car park, so had to leave car in public car park. Room was dated, although clean. No shower gel in dispenser. Carpets stained, and very creaky floor boards, so felt sorry for anyone below. Stayed in better Premier Inn's and wish I'd paid more for a better standard somewhere else. Very poor effort from what I believed to be a good brand. Did not get value for money on this stay.
