Yeovil Town Centre hotel

Breakfast appourling , no yogurts 2 slices white bread about the same as brown although you could have eggs there were no scrambled eggs or no black pudding as there was the same as 2 months ago. To be honest it is the worst breakfast I have ever had in any hotel. Why can't you keep the food warn hash browns were cold beans were luck warm sausage "superior sausages " were just common Cumberland sausage no the good. Coffee machine producing coffee luke

This is a central hotel, ideal for arriving off the little bus from both Yeovil railway stations, which drops off directly opposite. My top/2nd floor room faced the rear and was very quiet. I also found it a very comfortable base for my 3 nights stay. Previous reviews have already highlighted issues around the food offering, so I won't dwell on that. Other than to say I found the excellent cooked to order breakfast was served by lovely staff and prepared very quickly by the chefs. The hotel is within a reasonable walking distance of everything the town has to offer. I believe a new evening chef will have started work since the time of my stay. There are plans to provide 26 new ground floor bedrooms, at which point the restaurant will be reduced to a size more relevant to guest occupancy. Without failing every team member I interacted with were doing a great job against a background of issues with the restaurant beyond their control.

Very clean and comfortable room - we booked a Premier Plus definitely worth the extra. Staff were brilliant - warm, friendly and went the extra mile when we wanted extra pillows, had questions etc. Only let down was the 'unlimited breakfast' being waitress service - we did not have enough time before our event to keep re-ordering so would have appreciated knowing beforehand that it would not be a buffet. We would not have paid the extra otherwise.

Stayed here several times - the staff make it. The hotel itself does its best, but the rooms are generally worn and the bathrooms invariably have some mould. The team are magnificent. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, occasionally theatrical (in the best sense) and always an infallible example of hospitality. I hope Premier Inn invest in the hotel as the staff work beautifully to pick up any slack. I can't praise them enough.

Very disappointed with our stay. No evening meals available. Carpets needed hoovering, our room wasn't done and we had to ask for clean towels etc. There were no poached or boiled eggs on offer at breakfast and the food was luke warm. Buffet was limited and despite staff seeing that it needed replenishing it didn't happen. We were asked to book breakfast ,because it s busy and we when arrived at 9am there were only 6 people in the restaurant. Staff looked fed up. There was one receptionist and in the restaurant there were the cook and 5 staff with not a lot to do. I'm afraid l wouldn't choose this as a place to stay as its well below Premier Inn standards. The corridors needed cleaning, ie carpets, the general look of the accommodation was below standard.
