"Great Stay & Outstanding Service from James"
We had a really pleasant stay at Premier Inn Yeovil Town Centre. The room was basic, but it had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.
A big shoutout to James, who was front of house at breakfast this morning. He was amazing — very friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. His positive attitude really stood out and made our stay even better.
A definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ employee.
Would definitely stay again!

"3 star hotel with five star staff"
Spent 2 nights here and came with low expectations as it was a budget hotel. The hotel really needs money spending on it, broken coffee machines, water dispenser not working properly, old keypad difficult to use, felt £3.00 for a small bottle plain water excessive.
Breakfast had adequate food but low quality produce, eggs completely under-cooked on second morning so left them on plate, poached eggs covered the plate with water because they were not drained and white not cooked.
Bed and pillows comfortable, room and bathroom needed painting, furniture very old and marked.
On the positive side, the staff are super at this hotel

"A well worth visit."
All in all, a great visit. We booked the Premier plus rooms, due to past experience, in the hope the WIFI would be better. This was delivered, great reception and no buffering. rooms were comfortable and clean, the ac worked perfectly as well.
Staff were super friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We did the evening meal/breakfast deal. Well worth the money, good quality food and plenty of it. On the Sunday morning, breakfast was very busy, which we were warned of on the evening before, plenty of variety, food was cooked to order, so there was a little wait, which was to be expected. Maybe could have helped with one more member of staff to help keep things topped up?
The only issue we had was, the rooms were not serviced during the day, which we thought would have been having paid the extra. Towels were not changed and the coffee pods were not topped up. When we mentioned it to the front of house lady in the evening, this was rectified immediately. She did explain the reason, which maybe we should have realised.
All in all, I/we would have no hesitation in booking here again. Thank you.

"Convenient & inexpensive"
For our annual re-visit to Somerset we decided to book Premier Inn for its convenient town centre location at the bottom of Middle Street. It looks like it could use some care and attention and our quick assessment is that there was limited evidence of management. The outside terrace tables needed a thorough clean, for example. To be fair it is a convenient location and relatively inexpensive. Strange that double glazed windows can't be opened and, annoyingly, the flimsy curtain between the panes is therefore inaccessible and limits the view of the street below. Who designs these things ? Breakfast was OK and not expensive in a large restaurant area. I can see the point of offering a cooked breakfast on demand (avoids the waste of buffet selection presumably). But most of the "cooking" appeared to be by microwave. There is no on-site car park and hotel recommends Stars Street, a short walk away. Might be a good idea to have a pocketful of change as ticket dispensers don't take cards and we refuse all parking apps. Our bonus was to discover Atrium Italian restaurant immediately opposite. Yeovil is not blessed with a big range of eateries sadly so it was truly a special delight to find this and its Italian owner who was very welcoming and professional, serving "tapas"-like selection of small dishes, all very tasty and not expensive. He had previously owned Tamburino next door and was a 29 year veteran of the area. Our thanks to him and his staff.
