Yeovil Airfield hotel

Location was easy to find & free parking plentiful on site (just log your car registration at reception). Quick and easy check in and check out. Small building, so never felt busy or noisy & the price we felt was very good value for money. Overall the room was clean and tidy, but maybe a little tired and needing a bit of TLC. Was generally a quiet hotel - however was woken up before 7am by staff members talking loudly directly below our room window. It wasn’t a hot day, but room wouldn’t go below 26c as no air flow, so was a hot and uncomfortable night. There was a fan that helped, but really they could invest in air conditioning which would transform the stay. Wouldn’t risk staying again during summer months otherwise.

We had a problem with our booking but Wayne was amazing - he helped entertain our kids, sort us out a room and was just patient and lovely about everything. What would of just been a normal stay became excellent because of him

We went The Airfield Tavern in Yeovil after the restaurant we planned to go to was closed. Even though its not open to the public they said we could eat there. The food was lovely, and the staff were amazing! They went above and beyond to make a rare family meal out with our 5 year old really enjoyable! Would highly recommend. Thank you to Wayne, Jordan & Kacey for your hospitality. We will definitely be going back 😊

Very friendly and quick check in. Staff member on reception was very helpful and provided information for local area. Also got food/drinks which were very reasonably priced and tasty! Wayne was personable and offered great service. One of the comfiest beds I have stayed in. Would recommend to anyone staying here - all round enjoyable and relaxing stay just what was needed.

Room comfortable, clean, could have done with air conditioning but we were provided with a fan. No USB ports in room but plenty of plug power points. Came home a day early due to being unable to sleep as the room was too warm. We couldn’t have an accessible room as we think they only had one and it was booked. No lift for second floor, so we were given a ground floor room. I have mobility issues. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant next door was actually one of the nicest we’ve had on a business trip as it was cooked to order and not buffet. Menu a lot smaller than usual, but as it’s a quieter location it made sense. Food was good, a little slow sometimes, but they made up for it by giving us a bigger serving of dessert. They checked every time to see if we had any food allergies.,The whole place could do with modernising, but for a short business trip, it was okay. It was clean, convenient, plenty of parking and in a convenient location. We visited the nearby Haynes Museum on the way home, well worth a visit.
