"Mouldy, damp, dusty room & bad customer service"

We arrived to the hotel late and as soon as opened the door were hit with the smell of damp. We asked for change rooms but unfortunately the hotel was full. It was too late to find anywhere else so we stayed. In the morning we complained and got told to email the complaints team. (Not within a certain time frame, just to email). We were on the way to our holiday (with limited WiFi) so complained when we got home. This was slightly over the 7 days and due to that meant we couldn’t get an any sort of refund. I understand the policy, but as it was none stated to us at the time of the complaint & I believe our room was more than just ‘not a comfy’ nights sleep. It was mouldy, damp and dusty. I am shocked that Premier Inn were letting people stay in that room & disappointed that they won’t look into this further. I have always had good experiences with Premier Inn & regularly chose them whilst travelling but unfortunately this has changed my opinion of the company.

"Friendly helpful staff"

Great location easily accessed from the M5, a very friendly reception. The rooms were clean and had everything needed for the stay, a nice quiet stay. All staff were very polite, friendly and couldn’t have done anything more, I enjoyed my stay slept well as always with a premier inn

Good location for our purposes. A simple ‘motel ‘ type accommodation. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Handy adjoining restaurant. Easy access to the M5. Quiet.

Me and my husband stayed here on a Sunday evening for a local concert we were attending, I must say we were very impressed! The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the pub is perfectly located, the car park was spacious (even better that it’s free) and we loved the fact it was just off the main road and had a real country feel. I had read a review on here previously that said it was dangerous to get out onto the main road but we thought we had a perfect view when leaving the hotel in both directions. It was really peaceful, we had no wi fi issues and we were able to park the car literally outside of the window due to our room backing onto the car park (a coincidence I know but we liked it!) Our room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was spacious. Overall we found our stay great value for money and all being well we will be visiting many times in 2026! We have visited several premier inns in the past, even though we have never had a problem in any we have found this to be our favourite. Credit to all the team that keep it top tier.

"Great Premier Inn"

Great Premier Inn! I needed a stop off en route to the west country so booked here. Excellent value for money and a couple of minutes away from the M5. I had a lovely big room with the ever comfortable bed. Breakfast was next door and slightly different to normal in that the hot food was cooked to order but that made it even more tasty than usual. The continental breakfast was a buffet. All in all I couldn't fault my stay, great value for money and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Free parking as well so I will definitely stay here again.
