    "Excellent stay"
Excellent service and clean hotel. Mike, member of staff, was a complete credit to the company. He was polite, caring and knew exactly how to treat us and our disabilities.
    "Poor Customer Service"
We were staying in WSM for one night & had been looking forward to it as we had visited friends earlier in the day. However, any favourable impression of the hotel was lost due to their abject failure to inform guests about some important information. There was a complete lack of communication and interest from the reception team about what was happening that night. Whilst the receptionist chap was friendly enough upon arrival, he failed to inform us about road closures that night. There were no notices up either informing guests about this crucial piece of information. Therefore, when we went out that evening into WSM for dinner, he again failed to inform us/guests about the fact that during the evening the main road (& really only way) to the hotel Herluin Way (dual carriageway & main road in from M5) and Hutton Moor Road were BOTH being closed that night. Consequently, it took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to get back to the hotel. After driving around in circles and stopping at a Tesco Express to ask directions, then stopping in Aldi car park to ring the hotel at 22:51 to find out HOW to get back to the hotel with the road closures. All this actually needed was a notice to go up in reception or for the reception team to TELL guests what was happening that evening. It caused stress and anxiety trying to get back to the hotel after what had been a pleasant evening. It left a very unpleasant impression. I spoke to the night receptionist Alex upon return who informed us we were at least the third call that evening. He said that no one from management had told them to put up a notice and questioned why the reception team had not informed us about it before we went out. This is frankly not good enough. I am beyond disappointed, annoyed and frustrated at Premier Inn’s response. It completely ruined our evening and stay, all because staff couldn’t be bothered to tell us basic information. Not good enough. Upon checking out the following morning, there was still no notice/information up about that night’s road closures. Why? Does Premier Inn enjoy causing stress and anxiety to its customers? This can be the only conclusion or perhaps the alternative that they really couldn’t give a toss about their customers. When I asked that morning about a notice, the young woman on reception showed a clear lack of interest. Really not great & would hesitate to book a Premier Inn ever again.
"Cheap rooms and good breakfast "
Room was clean although a little musky smelling...beds fine. Very warm in the room but a large white fan in each room but poor flow, found 2 filters on it after searching online.... removed and cleaned and was really good after that Good shower and food next door was spot on.👌
    "Hotter than an oven"
Room was uncomfortably hot, no one could sleep. Couldn’t have a shower in the morning as it was too hot in there to try and do our hair. Set off at 4 am as we couldn’t take any more. Would not recommend, no a/c
    "Unbearably Hot Rooms"
Rooms are boiling! We stayed last weekend and it was the worst night sleep imaginable. With temperatures reaching 34 degrees in the room, and no air conditioning it was unbearable. We ended up purchasing fans for the second night, and when we complained - we weren't the only ways! We were just told it was outside of their policy on a good night's sleep, and fobbed us off. Breakfast is lovely but with one member of staff, queues were routinely out of the door, and they only alow you to use one coffee machine. Overall a really disappointing stay, poor customer service and won't be staying again - well at least during the summer!
