Weston-Super-Mare East (A370) hotel

Staff were all very welcoming. Plenty of free car parking available. Our room was in the main clean but the bathroom was showing signs of wear and dust on the skirting boards. Towels and bathmat were a little thin and had we been staying more than 2 nights, we'd have asked for them to be changed. Felt safe but would have liked a security chain on the door as the door took quite a while to close automatically. We did try closing it manually but couldn't. Not a major issue.

Vivon the staff member and mike was a fantastic laugh extremely friendly welcoming in room a decent size extremely happy will definitely stay here again smooth resolution throughout

We chose this location as it is locsted close (drivable) to Puxton Park, but also the Weston Supermare beach. The parking is ample. The breakfast was good, a great selection of cooked and continental for the kids and adults. The rooms were nice, typical Premier Inn style, beds were fairly tightly packed but not we weren't too fussed as we were not spending much time there apart from sleeping. Everything was clean, tidy, quiet and the value for money was excellent. I would recommend.

Check in person was helpful and friendly. However, as we opened the door to our room we was hit with a foul smell of damp and mould. The room was freezing as there was a fan/dehumidifier left on in the room and the window was wide open. My partner asked for our room to be changed at reception but the hotel was full. We live 3 hours away and were visiting family, by the time we had arrived at the hotel it was 10pm therefore we had no choice but to stay in the room. It was myself and 2 children, I am concerned that we had to not only smell this putrid smell all night but we were also breathing in whatever was in the air. This is clearly an ongoing problem as the next morning we noticed several rooms being cleaned and inside the rooms were other fans/dehumidifiers. We also overheard housekeeping talking about the smells in the rooms. We are highly disappointed especially considering how much we paid for 1 night. I am also extremely disappointed in the lack of communication trying to make a complaint. I don't think we will be staying here next time!!!

So lovely the manager is 5* top guy went above and behind for us will be going back again with my kids they put a extra bed in gave us extra spoons and cups was very very friendly my son has autism and they was so welcoming the kids loved it
