Weston-Super-Mare East (A370) hotel

Incredibly hot rooms with no air con. Really noisy road all night right next to the hotel as well, making it a place best avoided. You can either have the window open to let the heat out, with the noise, or window closed. Although with the window only opening to about 5cm, it doesn’t really have a great effect. So all in all, we cooked all night, and listened to the boy racers.

I hate leaving bad reviews when the staff were so friendly, but I can't not write this. Stayed here on the 17th August and it was honestly the worst night I've ever had in a hotel. The HEAT in the room was stifling. It was so bad that I had to leave the room at 3am to sleep in the car and leave my husband and 2 children in the room. Kids were soaking with sweat. Very grim time was had. Felt hungover in the morning. Sicky and headache. I know the weather had been hot but this was not normal and reading the reviews, it's shocking that something hasn't changed. Food and staff were nice though haha

The best thing about out stay was leaving the next morning. Check in was okay, no self service kiosks working but served straight away. Went to our room and we got hit in the face by a wall of unbearable heat. We were greeted with a boiling hot room, the fan already on, struggling to cope. Unable to open the window any more, no other AC available. We had a very uncomfortable night sleep (we barely slept actually as it was too hot). The temperature stayed around 28-231C all the time we were in. Judging by the signs around the hotel, and the amount of fans we saw, as well as the other reviews, this hotel has a problem with heat. We won’t be coming back here unless the UK is suffering a severe cold snap as it’s way too warm in side. The outside was cooler, even when it was warm and sunny.

PARKING BEWARE!! Don’t be surprised to get a parking ticket when you stay here as they are clearly unable to enter car REG in the system. My wife stayed one night and they said they would enter into the system and clearly didn’t. It goes through to horizon parking and as we moved it took time to process to new address at the expense of bailiffs. £165 out of pocket and hotel done nothing to help. Total scam will never stay again

Unbearable temperature in the hotel room throughout the day and night. It had been warm throughout the day and cool during the night outside, but the windows were restricted so much that the room could not cool down from hotter temperatures recorded earlier in the week. A very poor and uncomfortable night for the family.
