"happy stay"
Excellent location and plenty of parking , excellent staff and superb breakfast. could not fault this Premier Inn in any way.

"Great sized room fresh hot breakfast."
Thankyou for such a great stay. Our room was lovely and clean the kids had a great time and winning on the tombola. Great idea for the kids. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Thank you to Sonja for her help with directions and local knowledge

Amazing stay the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a great room clean and tidy. The breakfast was hot. It’s great to have a place to stay which cares so much about thank you we will be back.

"Very Bad Stay"
Extremely disappointing stay at the Taunton Ruishton Premier Inn.
We arrived late at night with two young children and were allocated a family room where the main light was not working. The only light available was a small lamp in the corner, making it difficult to see and creating safety concerns with young children moving around the room.
When I reported the issue to reception, I was told that the fault had already been flagged. I was shocked to learn that the hotel was aware of the problem before our arrival but still chose to allocate the room to us without informing us or discussing an alternative.
We had also requested a cot in advance, which was not provided. Fortunately, I had brought my own travel cot as a backup, but due to the size and layout of the room, the only place it would fit was next to plug sockets, which was far from ideal for a one-year-old child.
The bathroom was not cleaned properly, with toothpaste stains and beard clippings still present, and the toilet flush was also faulty.
What made the situation worse was that we arrived late at night, were over three hours from home and travelling with two young children, meaning leaving and finding alternative accommodation was not a realistic option.
Following the stay, Premier Inn accepted that the lighting fault was known before check-in, acknowledged the cleanliness and maintenance issues and confirmed that the room should not have been allocated in that condition. Despite this, they refused to provide a
adequate refund.
This is by far the worst experience I have had with Premier Inn and falls well below the standard I have come to expect from the brand. I would not stay at this hotel again.

"Bed not made. Poor night's sleep"
Upon arrival the bed in the family room was not made up. So had to go back to reception and was given bedding to make it ourselves. V poor.
The bed was very old and sagging - terrible night's sleep.
Really wish we had booked Travelodge instead.
