Taunton East hotel

I am sorry to write this but this hotel was the worse stay I have ever had at premier. The room felt like a sauna with a warm night and no aircon and one fan for two people and a window that could hardly be opened. With how hot it was there should be a minimum of one fan per person. As I had to share the fan and no air in the room I hardly got any sleep. When we tried to switch in the bed side light we discovered no light but a cover over live wires!! But what was worse was they got it wrong a check-in advising had only paid for one room as I was so tired from travelling I only checked my email and not app and paid extra for the room. Once I found out I had already paid for the room I altered reception however the person on reception had no idea how to give a refund I left my details for a manager to call and still waiting to this day for the call I only got the refund on contacting central reservations. I have stayed at lots of premier inns and have always had a good stay especially the hotel at cramlington but this hotel I will never stay at again. Lots of improvement is needed

After a great night staying with Premier Inn in Exeter this was a complete let down. Lady on reception not very friendly, room dirty and on site Beefeater closed so two of our group of six had to drive to the harvester. Never stay here again.

Two rooms booked. Accessibility room bed was incredibly low, which for someone with arthritis was impossible to get up from. Accessible toilet also very low. Neither room had been cleaned properly, sweet wrappers over the floor and bedding in both rooms was stained and the beds were unmade. All bedding and additional pillow need to be provided by the receptionist, who was friendly, but had to deal with everything including the complaints herself. Rooms were very low quality for the price. Air conditioning has been turned off through the hotel obviously in an effort to save money. Really bad experience so unfortunately, Will not be staying again as very disappointed. Taunton is a great town and this really gave the whole visit a sour note.

Absolutely the worst hotel we have stayed in. It clearly states that there is no air conditioning and 1 fan is provided but what it doesn't say is that the rooms are 30 degrees when daily high outside temp in August was max 19 Deg C. I tried to include a picture of the thermostat in the room at 2200 showing this but the WiFi and any mobile signal is so terrible I am barely able to write this review. On top of this the shower alternated hot and cold every couple of seconds almost burning my daughter - apparently a fault they were unaware of. Would rather sleep outside in the carpark. Receptionist was decidedly unapologetic stating only that it is written on the website and there was nothing they could do. Absolutely appalling and wish we had never come.

We stayed here due to the location being close to the family we were visiting. Upon arri al things seemed ok. Hovever, things deteriorated quickly. The two room had identical issues so it wasnt a case of us being unlucky. The following is what we fou d and photographed. The Rooms had not been hoovered, there was severe dust on skirtings and in corners, Mold in bathrooms, desk had covering ripped off in places, Dirty headboard, hole in headboard and screwed up bedding pushed under the bed (not sure if it was clean or dirty as we were unwilling to check), no toilet paper, no coffee, sugar or tea bags and empty milk pot in box. And the fan provided was also filthy. There were also holes in the towels provided. We had 2 room with breakfast for £245.96 so not exactly cheap either!.
