"great stay"

The rooms are lovely and clean, The staff are fantastic,friendly and helpful.They couldnt do enough for my elderly parents .We stayed for 2 nights .The breakfast was lovely.Full English and you could get as much as you want and if you didnt want that you could have other things,cereals yoghurts toast.We asked if they could do porridge for my dad and they said that wasnt a problem

"Helpful staff"

Staff couldn't have been more helpful solving a problem due to my health issues. Beyond duty. Changed room easily & smoothly even gave us complimentary extras despite problem not being all their fault.

"Great value stopover."

Stayed for two nights, bed and breakfast. Staff polite and obliging, housekeeping very good, comfortable nights sleep, ample car parking, and excellent buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Good value package at this time of the year.

"Birthday break"

We had a couple nights stay whilst visiting family, plenty of parking at the hotel which is about 20 minutes walk into town. The rooms looked recently refurbished and were of a decent size and plenty of hanging space. We had an additional sofa bed in the room and a comfy chair, desk and tea/coffee making facilities. Reception also had additional hot drink supplies and milk, reception staff were friendly with a special mention to Anne who was lovely. Breakfast was provided in the Brewers Fayre just across the car park, buffet style and help yourself - overall excellent choice and quality.

"Premier Inn okay, but avoid the food"

The room was okay although whilst being on the ground floor unable to open window and sleep as afraid of security on the ground floor. Not to close to Taunton town centre but as long as you do not mind using taxis then okay, but the cost saving for staying in this Premier Inn and town centre offsets the cost. As most Premier Inn the breakfast was horrible and not enjoyable at all, poor value for money so go to Morrisons for a better breakfast and value for money. If you just want a bacon roll then go the M&S or Nero coffee, but do not waste your money on the breakfast or just have the cold buffet/continental breakfast only. Did not eat the evening meal food but spoke to a guy who had ribs and albeit edible not best food he had and recommended another place. To sum up cost effective place to stay but avoid the food.
