"Dissapointed"
When we arrived after a long train journey and walk from station as were told it’s a 10 minute walk, (30 mins in reality with luggage) we were unable to get a drink as there was a staff meeting in there. The adjoining restaurant has closed down and they are now doing in house food/ drinks. Worse premier we have stayed in.

"Best so far without a doubt."
Turned up tonight after a long drive. I stay in Premier Inns a lot, never been in this one before but this was the best. From turning up at reception tired and being greeted by friendly staff through to the restaurant experience and the excellent food I can’t fault it. I don’t normally comment on my Premier Inn experiences but as the staff were so friendly and efficient I feel I should make the effort also. Actually the restaurant is actually designed like a small bistro rather than the normal clinical Premier Inns so that was a nice surprise. Apart from dropping my case off in my room I haven’t had a chance to see what that’s like but you know what you’re getting with Premier Inns so don’t doubt it will be just fine. Well I thought I knew what I would be getting but this, based on my experience so far, is a cut above the others I’ve been to. Oh and lots of free parking, just remember to put your number plate in the machine. I was so tired I I nearly forgot to log my vehicle but I was politely reminded by the lady on reception.

"Very poor from to start to finish!!"
Extremely disappointing stay and even more disappointing customer service afterwards.
Our booking was incorrectly recorded, meaning our family of five did not have the accommodation we had booked and my wife and daughter were left in a room while myself and our two boys had to find somewhere else to sleep.
The room itself was unbearable. Temperatures were easily over 30°C and my wife and daughter got virtually no sleep, repeatedly having to cool themselves down with cold water. There was already a fan in the room when they arrived, which suggests the hotel was well aware of the problem.
Despite several complaints, Premier Inn’s response has essentially been to say the room wasn’t advertised as having air conditioning and that we didn’t report the temperature during the night. We were told the hotel was full, so moving rooms wasn’t an option, and a fan was already provided.
What’s perhaps most frustrating is that their own responses have contradicted each other about what was actually recorded on the booking.
For a company that prides itself on providing a “good night’s sleep”, this was anything but. The stay was poor enough, but the refusal to take any responsibility afterwards has been even more disappointing.

"Book ahead for breakfast on arrival."
I found all the staff to be very kind, approachable, and helpful, the car park is free by entering your vehicle number plate on the tablet located inside the reception area then enter how many nights you are staying, my tip is for the day you check out enter an additional night to cover the time after midday.
There’s one EV charging point available in the car park.
The nearest convenience shops if walking is the Nisa shop on the main road that takes about 5 minutes or the Tesco Express is about 8 minutes walk and is open from 06.00 am until 23.00 everyday.
From the hotel to the town centre by foot is approximately 45 minutes walk.
Take a left on the main road until you see the railway station sign, then turn left, go past the station to continue to the town centre.
There’s a plethora of takeaway food establishments that will deliver to the hotel for £1.50 and a minimum spend of £12 to £15, for an Indian or Chinese meal delivered to the room.
The breakfast was very good but you need to book ahead as it’s an integrated restaurant with limited capacity.
With no air conditioning I would suggest bringing your own tower fan, preferably two or two smaller fans if staying in warmer weather, the room did come with a 360 degree rotating fan which did help but in the hot summer the room will still be too warm to sleep in as the window only opens up a few inches.
The hotel is very quiet to sleep as it’s next to a very quiet housing estate.
